Basically the difference is only the color. A bronzer is a dark tan shade thats supposed to give you a bronzed healthy glow whereas blush can be peach, pink, red, everything in between... and also a tan shade (brown).

Do you want to look bronzed or rather flushed?

Just picked up the lipglass in 'Underage' LOVEEEE IT <3

And I love all of the Lip Gelee's

I have Lust is Lush, Slicked Pink, and Moistly.. Not as sticky as the lipglass.

My face is very ' soft ' and I'd like it to look a bit more ' edgy ' if that makes sense. Tired of my babyface. Which one should I use to achieve that look?

maybe "Margin" blush. has shimmer to it. it's a medium brown shade. well, not really brown. i 'm bad at describing colors. lol

I'd say a bronzer for contouring, or a brown blush as lizzy said. The shade depends on you skintone though, I'd suggest going to a counter, look at some colors and ask a MA, they hopefully should know ^^

I'm a big fan of all the MAC products that I have (clear lipglass, foundation, liquid eyeliner, and a bunch of eyeshadows). I've been using Estee Lauder bronzer since like high school though and am kind of tired of it, how are the MAC bronzers? Should I look into those?

Love it too..been using it for a long time now

I used to wear Just wear all MAC makeup but i've found that

Sephora Brand is really good as well..
esp the Foundation powder or all over powder..
They are always sold out

i recently stepped into the world of MAC cosmetics, and i'm lovin it. i don't know why it took me so long...
after a few disappointing experiences with other makeup companies (i used to live by anna sui, but it was so hard to find in my area --the first items i bought were bought in NYC--...and i hate buying stuff online unless it's a refill, as i never know what i'm gonna end up getting...then i went to benefit, and while they were decent...the range of colors and stuff was more generic than i wanted..and then dior...goodness, after living by my anna sui liquid eyeliner that didn't budge even in rain, i was severely disappointed when my diorliner just started peeling off....lol!)
so now i'm a MAC addict.

i do have a question, though...
i have the studiofix in NW20. it looked really good when she tried it on me...and the first day i used it, and even the second day, but then the more i used it, the more i realised it was harder and harder to blend into my skin color.
now last week, i went to a different counter, wanting concealer, and she said i looked like i was NW15...does it vary by product? or should i maybe try to go NW15 for my studiofix, too?? lol. or maybe i should just use a new sponge every three days?? hah.
that's why i prefer the eyeshadows and liners....you don't have to match 'em perfectly with anything...

Yes, the colors vary from range to range. e.g. NW25 in Studio Fix is not the exact same shade if you choose a liquid foundation or a concealer... you should try the concealer with your foundation on, looking at it in different lighting (daylight, artificial), then decide on which one suits you the best.

a good primer for SF is the Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream, it makes the foundation stick better to the skin and makes the finish more even. Besides it keeps my face matte the whole day (without it I'm an oil slick) and the makeup on...

yeah, foundation shades can vary because of the texture, the way they go on, and what kind of finish it gives. like i'm an nc35 in the tech, but an nc43/45 in the tinted moisturizer.

you might want to get a foundation brush if you're up for spending $$.
my favorite one is the 187 brush. it gives this airbrushed finish and you can use it with liquid or powder products. love it with my hyper real foundation! and you can also use it with blushes or other face products.
but the 190 would be better for the studio tech since it's thicker.

I have one question ... I have the Iridescent powder in Golden Bronze but it makes me look over-tan and the rest of my body is pale so it looks weird. I also find it too sprkly for my liking and if I hug someone it comes off on their face ... so annoying! I need a more matte bronzer for Summer but I asked for bronzer and thats what I got !

Clinique has a bronzing powder that isn´t shimmery at all ;)

The Body Shop used to do one that was also really good and not shimmery at all, but i don´t know if they still make it...

If you can´t find any, just look for a brownish blush without any shimmer, it will give yuo the same effect, either that or a brownish face powder. :)

Love, love MAC salespeople. Something about the way they know about makeup makes a definite statement about the company. I really like how they are an expert with colors and how to apply them. That is what makes it different.

anyone tried MAC STUDIO FIX? i havee itt .. just got it a while ago. did it make u break out? how do u like it? share!
sorry if asked before, i don't wanan go through 13 pages, right now. haha im sure i will soon=P
