You did a great job The pigmant is just concentrated colour so you need use only a little to get a strong effect. It can be a little tricky to apply as it smudges badly when you try to wipe strays bits off.

I own the pigmant in dark soul and really like the effect.

I think the actual formula for pigment is much different from eyeshadow too.
It's not as processed... I think.

I find the paints to be really helpfull when wearing pigments...
you can use the neutrals to just hold the pigment better so it doesn't stray...
or with colored paints to really play with color.

I love pigments!
Melon is my current fave...

It is very different to eyeshadow, to me it is not as refined.

I like the paints to for a solid base.

So to further share my ignorance I believe pigment is an ingredient of eye shadow, blusher, etc. Here you're getting the pure ingredient that MAC probably uses in some of its other single-purpose products ...

i've ran out of my fluidline and im about to repurchase another jar this weekend but i've been hearing so many great things about the liquidlast liner. but would the liquidlast be okay to put on the bottom lashline? or is liquid eyeliner just for the top eyelid?

What I like about the fluidliners are they are almost foolprooof. So easy to put on. Plus they don't take ages to dry but last so so long.

Liquidlast is that - nice coloured liquid liners. And you've got to be really careful in application or just a teeny weeny mistake and it's obvious. Then of course, the look of liquidliners are not as natural as fluidliners. Liquid liners are more precise, sharper, if you get what I mean.

It's a face primer along the lines of Clarins Flash Balm but IMO alot better then the Clarins. I always apply with the stipple brush, it's great used alone to as well as under foundation.

yesterday I went to the mac counter and bought the eyeshadow green smoke. It's really cool when you want to create smokey eyes but don't want to use always a blackish colour.
I live in germany and always when I go to mac I'm so amazed how the vendors look like. Their eye makeup is stunning and so much better than that of others. Did you notice the same?

I don't really think of strobe cream as a primer...
b/c it has alot of shine to it.
I hate it!!
Tried it once and it made my face feel greasy and I looked like a sweaty hog.

Really? I love it but tend to only use small amounts of it.

MAC Humid e/s is a very beautiful olive green, well deep green with gold sheen I would say and it's dark enough to be used for smokey eyes
