The Mascara Thread

Yes iChelle and it's worth every cent. This is an ongoing repurchase for me
and a wonderful procuct.

Ok, bought it. You guys are right! :D I  it! I drank the Koolaid. This'll be a staple for me now. Only thing is that it is hard to remove at the end of the day, even with a dual phase remover (I use the Neutrogena one) which usually takes everything off effortlessly. Regardless, this base really brings the best out of ANY mascara. Should've discovered this long time ago. I'm very impressed! Thanks all.

I got a sample of the DiorShow mascara w/ my Sephora order. Normally I'm all for designer products, but I wasn't impressed by the DiorShow. It's not bad, but my L'Oreal mascara is surprisingly better...it does twice as good a job as the Dior and costs way less :flower:

What's the difference between DiorShow and DiorShow Unlimited? I know the tubes are different but what about the formula and results?

Diorshow unlimited is supposed to elogate and curl your lashes, the brush is slimmer and semi-curved (it has a hump from the one side). One side to elogate, one side to curl...extra fix, sensational curves, ultimate lashes...

I personally prefer Diorshow, though;)

ugh. I've been wanting DiorShow for sooo long, I finally ordered it on Sephora and I hate it. it definitely didn't live up to its rep.. nothing spectacular and terrible to get off

i use Clinique naturally glossy mascara in jet black. it's perfect for everyday, and for a more dramatic look, i just apply more coats. for awhile i stopped because of the price and used full n' soft by maybelline...which is fine...but is horrible to get off and clumps and smudges. anyway I just converted back because of the quality.

i am looking for a super duper lengthening mascara and am open to trying both drugstore and department store...any suggestions out there? :) would diorshow ultimate take care of this? what about mac fibrelash? i need a mascara with those little fibers...

somebody on this forum mentioned cover girl's fantastic lash, so i bought it :) and it's awesome! i have problems with smudging: even waterproof smudges on me sometimes, but fantastic lash, the non-waterproof formula lasts ALL DAY. it goes on great, really separates and defines lashes, makes them a ton longer and thicker. all for a total of $7 CDN. it's in love <3 !

i will try that, thank you. it's on sale for $3 at long's drugs :) i hope it is HG material as i've heard great things about it as well...

Chanel Inimitable - is my favourite though I loved Chanel extracils as well - my mom is always using Estee Lauder or YSl's and sister prefers Givenchy's - it all depends on stucture of your eyelashes

I love my diorshow but l'oreal double extend is just as good imo

Lo'real Panoramic works a charm for me :)
It's not for the extreme dramatic look, but rather, it allows me to have separated and soft yet defined curled lashes. Great for an everyday look :)

Cover Girl LashExact was recommended to me and I gave it a try. LOVE IT! It doesn't have the volumne of Lancôme but it has ZERO clumps.

Brown/Black = beautiful! :flower:

Does it curl your lashes by any chance? Lengthens? :)

I tried the Cover Girl LashExact as well, and it's a very good mascara. Pretty much as good as the Chanel Inimitable...I do need to use it with the Lancome white base mascara to get really dramatic lashes, but essentially, no complaints!

when i got money, and my mascara get more grainy, i will go to get a new mascara
any recommenation if a want a sexed-up babyboll (a.k.a very very dramatic) lashses
