img does have a 'modelwire' type website on which it sends images of its models to clients... so they are not really website less- just private access.

Is Elmer Olsen a good agency?
Olsen is certainly invested in his models... daria werbowy and maria dvirnik benefited from being under his wing......

I don't know anything about the girls you posted other than Honorine who is mentioned in an article about Dvirnik in the Calgary sun in Janurary:

BEAUTY SECRETS
Runway star graces Flare

Maria Dvirnik has the look. The 16-year-old’s face graces this month’s cover of Flare magazine.

Now she’s off to strut the Paris runways for the luxurious haute couture collections kicking off Jan. 24. Dvirnik is on the fast track to fame.

“I still can’t believe it — it started so quickly. It’s beyond a dream come true,” says Dvirnik prior to leaving her Mississauga, Ont., home and boarding a plane headed for London. The 5-ft.-11, Ukraine-born beauty isn’t the only Canadian racing along the coveted super model circuit.

Honorine Uwera, who moved to Canada from Rwanda seven years ago, is walking the runways too and appearing in the Roca Wear Spring 2005 campaign with Naomi Campbell and Karolina Kurkova, from the Czech Republic.

According to Ivan Bart, senior vice-president for IMG Models in New York, both Dvirnik and Uwera have all the makings to go to the top, especially when it comes to personality and confidence

Uwera was in fall YSL Rive Gauche RTW 2005, here's some pictures of her:

Universal Models

What model, in your opinion, has a "universal" appeal? By this I mean classic features and someone who would appeal to a vast majority of people (fashion people and general public) and also someone who would appeal to people all over the world (US, Europe, Asia, etc...). My choices are:

Gemma Ward

Hana Soukupova

Kim Noorda

Polina Kouklina

Valentina Zeliaeva

i dont think most high fashion models appeal to the general public...and i def. dont think gemma ward appeals to the general public

I think definitely Hana and Valentina... I know they can look a little boring and bland at times, but really, neither of them have any flaws (except maybe Hana is too skinny, but look at her new "Snow Princess" editorial, Wow!). Kim and Polina would be the runners up... and yeah you're probably right about Gem :/

polina definitely :) and i'd agree, valentina def....like u said...flawless...hard to argue with that hahaha. yeah i think people's biggest problem with hana is her weight :/ but omg, that editorial was gorgeous!!!! and i think lots of people do feel she has a beautiful face. i didnt know what kim noorda looked like til u posted that picture

hmm who else to add to ur list? any commercial model of course appeals to the general masses...KK...do ppl consider her commercial now (since she's done VS)? hmm maybe isabeli fontana...

the public probably thinks they're too skinny especially with all that anorexia stuff going on with teenage girls
