So nostalgic...

Dita's look is so punctual. I salute her as applying a 'theme' into one's personal style is a feat in itself, rly.

Thanks, Jennifer!
You're welcome!

THERE GOTH THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Day one of London fashion week, and already a prevailing aesthetic of stylized gloom-and-doom has emerged. Valentina Ilarda of the Italian fashion quarterly Drome typified the chic-crypt sensibility in a public-schoolboy jacket—note the skull-and-cross bones badge—that was more Poe than Harry Potter when paired with her PVC leggings, bondage boots, and dried-blood lipstick. Oh, she's a sight... :crush:

At long last, PVC leggings have finally been styled in an atypical manner. Kudos!

Thanks again, Jennifer...

She does look fantastic; all the elements they mentioned plus her sunglasses and gorgeous head of hair work perfectly.

But with PVC, I can barely tell leggings from pants anymore... since the rule of tightness applies to both, and I notice the words are being used almost interchangably. It's slightly embarrassing to admit that I must categorize based on which usually has a fly, ie., zip or button-front...

It's dead confusing, rly. The lovely lady looks as if her legging-trouser hybrids are equipped with a zipper, no..?

The hair is the main attraction - the manner in which the sunlight dances atop it gives off the illusion of cobwebs..! :crush:

Apparently, I have to spread reputation, otherwise I'd give you karma, wheneveriwakeup.

Oh, I love the snow in the above picture.
I'm still trying to decide whether I'm into "softer" looks such as lace, silk or more structured items with a bit more edge to them.

Love this look, but only on the right person. I think you really have to have a dramatic face and the persona (not necessessarily a depressed persona....) to pull it off.
I love it.

i'm tired of all this "neo" , "new" , "nu" crap...

none of this **** ever went anywhere and just because something is trendy or on the runway again doesn't mean it's being resurrected from the dead or something. no pun intended ;)

From Panos Yiapanis' glorious thread.
A man dressed as such would truly wreck my heart in a most violently passionate manner..
