The Official Harry Potter Thread

I was going to see the movie next week, but since I'm going a way I won't be able too

where are you going to? maybe there's an english cinema where you can watch the original version? i know there's one in my hometown and i guess in many other big cities (in all kinds of countries) as well.
or do you just have no time to go?

Yeah there's one where I'm going, but it's not as big as the one where I live, and also I really want to see it with my cousin so seeing it alone at the place where I'm going is not something I'm considering :)
We always have the original version on all cinemas here in Norway, voice overs are mostly made for childrens movies, and I know there are movies with Harry Potter speaking Norwegian  It's so weird.

ugh i hate the dubbing here in germany, everything is dubbed...every tv show and movie:yuk:
i'll watch the movie first in germany (released one day earlier) and probably a second time in the original version. you're lucky to be living in a country with no dubbing, it's so annoying!

^_^ yeah I'm glad we don't do that on everything here since most of the time is sounds and looks off. I remember when I was in Germany and France I never watched TV because I didn't like the voice over on all the American tv shows
But they're doing it more and more in Norway too these days, like when I was a kid we had cartoon network only in English, but now we have both CN and Disney channel in Norwegian :yuk:

Last Christmas me and my cousin was watching tv and we stumbled up on the HP movie with voice over..it freaks me out everytime even tho I don't think the translation of the names in the books are that bad.

So I just thought that it would be fun to read all the Harry Potter books before last movies and realised that I don't own a single one of them... (Always borrow it from friends or library) Embarrassing :P

:( The midnight showings sold out here! I was planning to go, and a friend of mine said she would buy the tickets and she never got around to it.

grr..

^The midnight showings here just sold out today. I've got my tickets, but my dumb friend waited until the last minute.

^I LOVE the picture of Ron and Hermione. Look at the way he's looking at her.

Also, I have to add...the cinematographer did a brilliant job shooting this film. It looks absolutely stunning. I think DH will be a shoo in for a cinematography nod. I just hope we win this time. HBP didn't stand a chance against Avatar.

I remember I got the first book from my mum the Christmas it came out^_^ I had never heard of Harry Potter before and thought it looked a bit lame:rolleyes:. I still have all the books on display in my book shelf;)

Guys, the movie is awesome.
Wanna watch it more, more and more, and can't wait for DVD release.
