I'm watching "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban" as we speak. I had forgotten how much I love this movie!
It is at the part where the dementors stop the train on the way to Hogwarts. All of the lights are going out and everything is freezing. Now the dementor is entering the section with Harry, Ron and Hermione in it. And Professor Lupin uses the Patronus charm! YAY!

Regal theaters in London are going to be having Harry Potter marathons leading up the release of DH Part II.
It's over 20 hours worth of film, so it's split up into two days.

I'm really hoping theaters here in the US do the same, because I want to see the films on the big screen again.

Potter fans all over the world are going crazy right now, because JK Rowling made a special announcement today about some clues that led to a special anagram that either spells out MORE POTTER or POTTERMORE...I have NO idea what this could mean, but I'm so excited!

Following the completion of the seven Harry Potter books and eight films, J.K. Rowling has something new to announce.
Even though this is not a new book, we have been informed it is something equally exciting.

As a teaser before the official announcement, ten letters have been hidden on the website below for you to find. To locate them you need to find ten sets of coordinates, enter them into the search box one set at a time, and take a look around.

This is the second coordinate: 51.530377,-0.123259

The rest will be revealed among nine other Harry Potter fan sites at intervals throughout the 15th and 16th of June 2011. Find the coordinates, enter them on the site below and you could be one of the first to piece the word together.

I wonder what it will be used for! I'm thinking JK Rowling may be starting her own publishing company, but Warner Bros is also involved, so I'm not sure.

On top of that..a NEW Deathly Hallows Part 2 TRAILER is due to be released TOMORROW:

We've now learned from Warner Brothers that the second trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 will debut on Apple's website at 4 PM PT!

It will then be available for download the following day.

We'll of course bring you the trailer the moment it's available!

That's 7pm Eastern Time and 6pm Central time!!

oh god, i can't wait, i need to know what it is!
although...to be honest i would love a completely new series by JKR, i don't even need anything Potter related anymore (like an encyclopedia or a book about his parents or whatever). but i won't hold my breath, i know this will never happen

I'm so anxious to see what the big reveal will be! It's terribly exciting. However, I do hope it's not necessarily another Harry Potter book. I love HP I really do but I want the series to remain the way it is. It just seems like the right thing to do leaving it at 7 books. However, I wont complain too much and will read them if they are HP related. And like Alvedansen, I would love it if she wrote a completely new series. I want to be captivated by a new world and it's characters and I know that J.K. Rowling has the skills to do so. But who knows... it might not even be a new book!

The announcement is a new website called Pottermore.com.
But hopefully, they will tell us what exactly that is and very soon.

The suspense is killing me. If she uses this new site to announce a new book, I will probably explode from excitement.

I really wish she would come out with the Harry Potter Encyclopedia she has mentioned before. I would love that.
