For some reason I am getting excited to watch the wedding even though I had barely any interest in them as a couple ever, even when they announced their enagement.

i wasn't keen on following every move they made prior to today but my roommate has been watching everything about this weekend and she's obsessed. But I want to watch it live. My grandma and mom told me they remembered back in the day staying up at 4am watching the royal wedding of Diana and Charles. I guess that same thrill has me staying up tonight.

I got up at 6am to watch all the pre-reports. I can hardly wait for all the real coverage of the guest arriving and such. I love royal weddings, I've watched every single one since I was a little kid but this one is everything. I'm dying over this

Yeah, I think that's it. There's also something fun about having the internet around now and being able to discuss it with people from different parts of the world who are all awake for this event. It's a bit silly that we all "care" so much, but whatever... life is silly .

yeah I agree. The thrill of the moment. The chance for 10 years down the road to talk about "where you were" or "what you were doing" when they got married. Even if it's laying in your bed half awake lol.

but it's quite nice because im watching both BBC and CNN and they are interviewing the people gathered outside and you can FEEl the energy and excitment. everyone is just so happy right now over there!
