The Sims 3

So supposedly this game came out June 2nd and I really am craving it big time. It's really sad and tantalizing knowing I can't buy it... just yet.

Does anyone own it/have been playing it? How do you like it?

I really want to buy it, but then I may aswell say goodbye to my summer. As soon as you play Sims 3 you are never leaving your computer. Ever.

I have it and have been playing it for a little while - it rocks!! I miss all my TS2 custom content though, my Sims all look so fugly and all the designer clothes I have for TS2 don't work in this one. So I can't wait for the talented creators to start making some awesome TS3 stuff.

But the game itself is good - a lot faster and smoother than TS2 on my iMac. Very addictive!

I remember playing the H&M edition for Sims 2. And who could forget making Sim's making out and trapping babies in wall I am so bad ..
Glad to hear good reviews, although the clothes from TS2 don't work here??
Oh wells, maybe they'll come out with a H&M edition for TS3

Ok so you guys... I'm buying it today after much contemplation on life post-The Sims 3 in relations to my college studies...

Yeah, so whatever figment of my life I have once possessed will pretty much be over with after I buy it today.

How much does it cost where you live?
I find it pretty EXPENSIVE, it's 50€+ in Spain, which are about $70+, 45+ pounds...

Me and the Sims go way back. I remeber playing it in 5th grade. lol And I still love it.

Good to hear the game is good. Can someone elaborate on some new features?

^No I don't think that should be a problem. I'm pretty sure there is a Language selection, on the game?

I got mine for £29 from Amazon.co.uk (in the UK, obv) with free shipping. And yes, it'll be fine in Spanish, it comes with many languages!

^ Yup. Right before you go into the download client there is a language selection option.

^ I suppose it depends on how old your computer is. I'm playing it on my pretty old PC and it is somewhat slow but definitely still playable... right now I'm just being slightly technology pretentious and on my MacBook at the same time while I wait for it to load.
