The Twilight Saga Movies

Just came back from the movie. I really enjoyed it ^_^

I like Bella's wedding dress  It's simple and very decent, but it suits her so well. The whole wedding scene was perfect.
I was also surprised how did she look as a pregnant. Wow. It was realistic and dramatic (so skinny, like a dead body).

Edward, I'm so glad that she was quite like in the first Twilight movie. I wanted to see young man. Not someone in pain and looks like a wreck. I know, I know that he was in pain in NM (and in BD when Bella's so like a wreck too), but still.

And the the Volturi scene? I didn't know about it. Everyone just wanted to go and when I looked at the screen, I said to my friends "Sit down, it's not the end" and people just stopped and watched this scene staying on the stairs. I thought that they recived a message about Bella as a vampire?

And of course, I'm always in love with the music. I think songs were great and just make all the scenes even better.

Oh, and Kristen is very beautiful - as a bride and as a vampire. Only the wig was so out of place sometimes.

I really gotta watch it! I've followed twilight since the beginning..
It's too bad it was rated 4.2/10 on imdb :/

Ah!!! You girls are making me excited. I really enjoy the movies... I live in Singapore and it's only out in 1 more week! Can't wait. :)

What movie was your favorite? So far I love New Moon the best but maybe this will change in a week's time. ;)

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn--Part 1 opened with a sharp bite around the globe, grossing $139.5 million domestically and $144 million overseas for a franchise best $283.5 million. In North America, Breaking Dawn wasn't able to quite match the $142.8 million opening of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on the same weekend two years ago. However,Breaking Dawn made up for the gap at the international box office, where it opened day and date in 54 territories.New Moon opened day and date in only 25 territories, earning roughly $133 million for a worldwide total of $274.9 million. Breaking Dawn set two key records: It's the fifth largest opening ever at the domestic box office, and the 10th largest worldwide (supplanting New Moon). Females continued to drive the vampire franchise, making up 80 percent of North American ticket buyers. Breaking Dawn's audience, however, skewed slightly older than the previous films, with 50 percent of the audience over the age of 25. Last year, 54 percent of the opening weekend audience for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was under the age of 25. Eclipse, opening on June 30, a Wednesday, earned $157 million in its first five days at the domestic box office. Breaking Dawn, teaming director Bill Condon with franchise stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson andTaylor Lautner, received a B+ CinemaScore, compared to an A- for Eclipse.

it's a good start, i guess.

That's a really good start, I really didn't think it would of open that close to New Moon. And here's some interesting info Twilight and HP are the only two movies to open this year to more than $100 million opening weekend in NA.

really? oh wow, that's interesting indeed. i guess it's what having a strong fanbase does to boxoffice, tho i am surprised not one other (new) movie managed to do it too.

didn't one of those transformers movies come out this year? was that already last year?! those always have big opening weekends too, don't they?

Correct Daj and POTC opened to $80 something million. Usually those two would of surpass $100 million but NA BO has not been doing very well this year. But yeah luckily HP and Twilight have strong fan bases so that helps them.

Tranformers and Pirates still earned over a billion worldwide...along with Potter.
I think this new Twilight film will earn between the same amount as New Moon and Eclipse, which is between 500 and 700 million worldwide.

Yes International Box Office is doing very well this year, studios now are depending on it more than domestic. I just thought it was strange that only two movies have surpassed the $100 million mark in a weekend in NA. In the past we would of had a few movies in year doing that. And I agree that BD will earn between the last two movies.

It also depends on the second week since audience attendance always drops as well but the numbers for the films are still considered solid. The film was as cringe worthy as I thought even though I still found some of it LOL worthy ! Just enjoy it as something easy minded stuff, it's not great but it's still fun.

Her dream version of the wedding was actually well done for me. Even though strapless wedding dresses are overdone, KStew looked very chic and the settings for both of the dream and actual weddings were really beautiful.

Billy Burke was my favourite highlight as always haha.

any news on 3-d conversion? i'm surprised Summit doesn't want to cash in on that, actually i'm kind of expecting their announcement of turning the second part into 3-d any moment now

I watched an interview with the producer and he said they wont do it as there's no need for it and how it would've been too much for the crew (shooting it with different cameras etc). On the other hand, rumor is spreading they might be going for it.

3D for the little and not so special FX? Edward sparkling in 3D, imagine that! LOL

Normally 3D would be more than convenient as Bella's senses are increased, 3D could represent that quite well.
By the way, BD part 2 is not shooted yet? Or is it finished already? I might have misunderstood this.
Daj, where was that nipple slip? I might have slipped it ;)

so no painfully cringeworthy scene? It seemed like every movie had one, the bad smell scene in 1, the running through forest in costume scene in 2. Can't recall if 3 had one.
They should have had female directors for all the movies. 1 will be the best in the end because it had a female director.
I'm glad for the box office, more evidence for Hollywood that female audiences can be as profitable as teen males.

they shot both parts at once, so yeah it's finished. i dunno if they're even able to turn it into 3D even if they wanted to at this point.

Nipple slip? the morning after, when Bella's remembering the past night and then she remembers her and ed kissing on the bed and you can see it. i was like  when i realized what i saw.
