The Twilight Saga Movies

they shot both parts at once, so yeah it's finished. i dunno if they're even able to turn it into 3D even if they wanted to at this point.

Nipple slip? the morning after, when Bella's remembering the past night and then she remembers her and ed kissing on the bed and you can see it. i was like  when i realized what i saw.

Thank you!!!

I must go to the cinema again!!!

Just saw it, I really liked this one! Much better than New Moon and Eclipse. (The first one is special...) Way better acting both from Kristen and Robert, especially Kristen! and I didn't find it cringe worthy. (Ok, maybe a few scenes) Better wardrobe for all of them, better makeup, and Rob finally looked hot as Edward again. Kristen looked beautiful in the wedding, and the dress fit her like a glove.

They were really sweet and adorable during the honeymoon imo. I found myself going 'awww' while watching, and chuckling. I don't know how much I can say, in terms of spoilers etc etc, so I'll stop. But I think they good with this one, and I'm actually looking forward to part 2.
And as for the nipple slip, I IMMEDIATELY saw it, hard to not see imo, lol. I think I saw it twice? Haha.

^A nipple slip? That's terrible. I can't believe that someone didn't notice before the movie was released. How embarrassing really... Though it's strange because I was sure that in a promotional still of that scene you could see that Kristen was wearing stick-ons, so is it really her nipple?

I still haven't seen the movie, but I really want to. This weekend hopefully.

I liked it, a lot. I thought Kristen's acting was MUCH better than in the previous films.
Taylor however tries too hard. I also cringed with Ashley's scenes.
I have to say I preferred the first wedding dress (the one in the dream), the other one looks like a nightgown. She looked stunning though.

I went to see it today, it wasn´t bad as I thought it would be... pretty much on par with NM and Eclipse.

My two cents:

-I like both wedding dresses, the back of the second is really beautiful and it fitted Kristen like a glove. It made me wish she would wear siren dresses in the RC. Did you guys notice how Bella changes shoes for the party? into white oxfords or sneakers, that was so Kristen!
-The wedding scenes and honeymoon weren´t any more cheesy than romcoms out there, they even have some funny and cute moments like the toasts and Bella trying to seduce Edward (how hot is Robert as Edward btw...?). The only really cheesy moment was Alice saying something like weddings bring people together. Kristen´s acting was much more natural, she actually looked happy and relaxed.
-The wolves scenes are always my favorites cause they bring some action.
-Bella´s body while pregnant was creepy, they managed the effect quite well.
-Bella trying baby names was the only scene that brought laughter in the -small- audience, we all were laughing at the ridiculousness of the name.
-I liked the way they dealt with Jacob imprinting on the baby, how he sees her as an adult while talking about being best friends and whatnot and as a kid when he talks about protecting her. Made it a bit less creepy...
-I liked the fading into blue for the montage of the other films, a little homage to Twilight.
-Another homage to Twilight is Flightless Bird during the wedding kiss, from prom to wedding. Nice touch.
-About the nipple slip, I think the nipple was too big to be actually a nipple...? It was kinda dark but it could be a pastie. When Kristen wore the LA premiere dress she wore pasties that at times looked like nipples.

^I think it lasts just the right amount of time, they cut to the chase with the story leaving out the book´s most boring parts. Though the honey moon drags a bit imo... but I´m not complaining cause Robs looks very yummy :p

I'm not a big fan of the films- though I like a lot of the cast. This was definitely a better film than previously, and I loved the soundtrack, but there were a few cringe moments imo: the wolves talking in their heads, the montages (which were cute, but awkward imo, though I did like Bella having flashbacks to all the different points of their relationship and the other films) and the parts of the honeymoon where Bella is trying to seduce Edward (again, cute but awkward)....

I really hate how they do the vampire hair and make-up too. They're meant to be stunning beautiful, but they all look jut a bit odd (and given it's a very attractive cast this should not be the case!)

A comment on the end scene:

I don't think the Volturi actually found out about the baby- just Bella being transformed. The Cullens had promised to tell the Volturi as soon as she became a vampire. Aro only comments on one new member of the Cullen clan. In the novel the Volturi find out about Renesmee when Irina tells them, as revenge for the death of Laurent.

The biggest issue is that this film would have worked far better combined with Part 2. Though it was lovely that they included a lot of the scenes from the book, I think there was also many filler scenes and by making a faster-paced film they could have ended on a bigger bang. Of course, Summit will end on a bigger bang with all the extra money they can make out of two films!

I just found out yesterday that Bruno Mars latest song is from Twilight. Does anyone else think it doesn't really go with Twilight?

He's not exactly ''indie''. The song is growing on me the more I hear it on the radio but when I do hear it I don't think Twilight like I did with Paramore or Florence's song.

The Volturis are interested in Alice and her skills on seeing the future..

Yes they play it right after the extra seen with the Volturi. I think it's awful especially when the ended the main part of the film on a really high note - The Joy Formidable. They get some really good musicians for the films like the collabortaion between Thom Yorke and Bat for Lashes for Eclipse. Then again, I am biased because I really, really hate Bruno Mars and his music.

Also, I agree with frenchpearls about the Volturi being informed about Bella, not the baby. If I remember correctly it was another vampire who told the Volturi about the baby, and they came over to Forks straight away to start the 'war' or whatever it was. So the new addition was the new vampire Bella.

^^yes, one of them even says something like that the Volturi are not interested in the fate of a human, meaning Bella.

i'm biased with you then. :) loved the previous OST's far more than this one. this is the weakest one, IMO.

^I agree about this ost being the weakest one, not one song caught my attention... I keep thinking about Flightless Bird and that´s a song from Twilight!
