The Ugliest Shoes You've Seen (June 2009 - November 2010)

Now, these inane ramblings with little relation to reality giver rise to several questions, the most pertinent perhaps being: Why is there a thread called "The ugliest shoes you've seen", if we are not allowed to post pictures of the ugliest shoes we've seen, in it?
I guess pertinence for you is unrelated to logic, let's see, for the same reason we have a thread about who you want to smack yet we don't allow personal attacks between members?. think about it.. it's not too complicated.

Okay, I seriously don't get these shoes...I'm seeing them pop up this season, and I honestly don't understand why they're fashionable. But to each their own, I suppose...

No, it's not complicated at all.

Someone posts pictures of their shoes.
Someone else finds them incredibly ugly and goes to find another picture of them, perhaps from a e-retailer, and then posts them in this thread.
How is that a personal attack between members?

I thought these See by Chloé rubber sandals were quite bad :yuk:

That might've happened unintentionally already so first of all, don't think the idea is really any relevant. It's the intention what's unnecessary, you don't need to go around the forums, collecting personal material that you don't like about our members in order to bring them here or any other favorite negative-only thread and post them as a way of.. what? showing that YOU don't approve? put them in ridicule? having giggles behind their backs? letting them know that they're not as desirable as they think?, there are far uglier things than a pair of shoes and one of them is precisely that kind of pompous behavior, more suitable for a pre-teen, not adults like you and me.
I know that might not be clear enough for you so you can go back to read the guidelines you signed up for when you came to this place, which include respect for our membership as well as our staff.
The discussion ends here, PM me if you have any more doubts.

That bright pink wingtip sandal with buckles up the calf (the last one in post 1050) is so perfectly silly that I have it for one of my icons on a LJ list that I read and occasionally post to.

A very odd shoe.

I don't care if they're on Net-A-Porter, I don't care if they're Stella McCartney... these shoes are atrocious.

^^ Not great, but I've seen much, much worse.

Those really aren't all that bad.

All footwear from Prada Fall 2009. Stomach turning.
