Lady GaGa is just one of the many names that is reportedly preparing to perform on The X Factor this year. The Mirror reports that bosses are still in talks with the singer who will join the likes of Bon Jovi, Westlife and Shakira in entertaining the millions of viewers throughout the upcoming results shows.
This week the X Factor contestants were mentored by Michael Bublé, who will perform a new single on Sunday together with boy group Westlife.
Next week, the remaining contestants will get help from US rock band Bon Jovi who will perform their new single – We Weren’t Born to Follow – on the Sunday result’s show.
A show source said: “It should be a great week for Jamie Afro to show he is a rocker and it will be good to see some of the others like the Twins or Lucie Jones outside of their comfort zone.
“X Factor have given fans Robbie Williams and Whitney Houston. Now with Bon Jovi, Shakira and all being well, Lady GaGa, it will make it the best series yet for big name acts.”
The X Factor climbed to an astonishing 14.8m viewers last Sunday as Cheryl Cole and Whitney Houston performed – more than last year’s final. Show bosses hope the mega stars will attract even more viewers as the contest continues, tonight, from 8PM on ITV1.
