Think Pink for Spring 06?

I like most colors, but I've always really really hated pink .

Pale/dusty pink I can deal with, but I don't know...it always just seemed like a very artificial color to me.

To me pink is quite a disgusting colour no matter what shade it is I would never wear it. I think Spring 06 will be all about white, black and darker shades of green and grey.

Oh, I could never banish pink, even though it's probably the last color anyone who knows me would associate with me. Plum pink is one of my favorite colors of lipstick and has been since I've worn makeup. And my skin is pink, it would be damn hard to live without

There's not much I'm willing to banish categorically from my life ... even ignorance (of certain selected things) is bliss ...

I swore off pink at the middle of summer 2004. i was so sick of seeing it EVERYWHERE it made my stomach turn and I didn't want to ever wear it again. I am almost at the point where I can tolerate more muted shades of it...but Barbie pink? no, never again. I think I'd be up for the muted shades this spring, but things like the bright Prada shoes in her s/s 06 ads? Not attractive to me at all, not even in accessories.

Honestly, I haven't seen any pink in any of the fashion magazines. I have seen primarily white, black, navy blues, and jewel tones. Pink is the last thing I would think of as the "it" spring color.

I think there's no doubt that the "it" color for spring is "no" color. For accent colors, though, I think pink may be a sleeper hit.
