yes, strictly, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi honten
shin-kan 2F

Hello, thank you so much for the information on Rochas again
So do you mean the store called Drawer that's on 2F Mitsukoshi carries Rochas then? tks again!

you're welcome
yes Drawer occupies one corner of what the Americans call the second floor of Mitsukoshi shinkan.
Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi honten consists of honkan (本館) and shinkan (新館).
so you'll find Rochas at Drawer which is on 2F of shinkan.

"Florent corner" is not a corner store btw.
it's a freestanding one.
"corner" is just its name since there is Florent slope, very near/apart from corner.

really nice looking store. Love the interior space.

Thanks for the introduction runner.

Do you also know anything about this store in Osaka runner?

http://seed-pipe.com/satirique/index.php

They stock Paul Harnden and Casey Vidalenc (both men and women). I have posted their sutff on both threads. It looks like a really cool store too.

and they will be stocking C Diem for the Winter 06. Some leather shirt/jacket, boots and knit cardigan.

sorry I don't know well
I'm sure xcoldricex and waldner have been in Osaka for some time.
they might be familiar.
but why?
visited PH thread. you seem to be fond of the store.
maybe you might like Osaka.
some things about Osaka were mentioned in the other Tokyo thread, if you're interested.

thanks for the info!

thanks runner.

I just thought it's so cool to get to know all these stores. It's like finding treasure. (because I am in the desert  ) and you always bring in all these cool treasures.

I guess it's time for me to get out of the desert :ninja:

anyone know of a good (and reasonably priced) yukata store? i would like to bring back a nice souvenir from my upcoming trip (november).

also, is it worthwhile going to any of the BAPE stores? i know its sort of an overplayed brand that was huge in the 90's, but is it a must see place in harajuku/aoyama. i also thought that maybe a shirt or accessory would be a good souvenir as well.

frankly speaking all the BAPE stores are kind of a farce. super-conventional retail packaged in seemingly 'funky'/'contemporary' materials and colours... it's always a bore visiting the BAPE stores since they NEVER have anything of interest left in the stores for whatever that are worth buying get bought within the first few days they come into the shops. whatever are left tend to be pure JUNK... which actually most of the products are anyway - in terms of [non/appropriated] designs, mediocre quality, etc.. NIGO's just so brilliant a businessman to be able to build such a large empire out of selling trash...

what an irony.

I found a beautiful and reasonably priced yukata in the OIOI JAM department store within Shibuya

basically yukata is supposed to be worn in summer
so it is harder to find much of it in November.
but I think authentic Japanese clothing shops always carry it.
also you can get it at famous souvenir shops like Oriental Bazaar.

if you like a bit different ones, you might want to check Tsukikageya.
