Tom Ford F/W 12.13 London

I'm surprised he's revealed it this early on, since fashion week was only 2 or 3 weeks ago...

The video looks very promising, all the looks, although only brief, all look flawless I'm really looking forward to seeing the looks in detail, I just hope they hurry the hell up.

Gwyneth in a look from the collection...

It's always the same, Tom doing what he wants, he is not interesting in being in lots of editorials or make trends.
Is his Gucci from the '90-'2000, love it!

10 years ago, he was such an influential designer for me. I didn't know better then. Now, I think he is just a empty superficial creative figure with just good marketing tactic!

This collection blows!

im in love with that black gown with the diamonds on ginta. love, love, love, love.

This is excellent. I think this is his best namesake collection yet. Olga's look in particular is standing out to me...the ease of a knit long sleeve sweater worn with the enormous necklace of crystals is so elegant. A lot of this reminds me of his work at Gucci, in particular, Fall/Winter 2003.

My only complaints would be that, a, the photography is so washed out and it cheapens the clothes (and these clothes certainly aren't cheap), and b, I just don't care really for the casting. I know no model talk, but imagine this collection on Elise, Daria, Liya, Carmen, Adina and that whole crew. Different times I guess, but I just am not particularly keen on the idea of Lindsay Wixson modeling for Tom Ford. It's just wrong. These younger models don't really bring these clothes to life, unfortunately.

This is the best collection that he has done for his namesake label thus far. Although it still doesn't quite fulfill my sartorial appetite after the YSL/Gucci collections of yore, this is a step in the right direction. Much cleaner and slicker than before. The accessories are a particular standout; the belts with the gold pendants etc.

Love this. Whereas his last two collections have, I felt, been more in line with his work from his YSL days, this seems very, very Gucci of him...if that makes sense. It's also nice to see more viable daywear options from him in his presentation. The pieces have been there in the stores, but until now they've been outshone by the eveningwear, not that the eveningwear here is anything to sneeze at, but it's not the main focus.

The leathers and furs in particular look fantastic, and if his previous seasons are any indication, they will be just as stunning in person. The shoes are pretty insane, too...not that that's anything new for him though.

I will echo what others have said and that this is Tom Ford's best eponymous collection to date for womenswear. My complaint about previous collections was that it looked like a Tom Ford collection, but a Tom Ford collection circa 1998, this collection looks current. What brings it down though is the models over-posing. Believe you me, I don't care for the non-personality / statue posing, but these poses are too much and adds an unintended comic element.

:heart: the leather;
:heart: the colored fur;
:heart: the gator top and skirt;
The boots and shoes are nice but not a standout from other collections, I do like the non-leather (python and gator / croc (I think)) boots;
Not feeling the handbags and eyewear except for these glasses;
The white dress with the cape is SPECTACULAR!

Yeah this is pretty gorgeous. It's bitchy, it's feisty and really alluring. He sure loves crocodile, which is done perfectly here. Zuzanna's look is the best for me.
