Trends You Are Sick Of #1

The skinny, painted-on jeans on guys is getting old. I prefer for them to wear slim jeans that are close to the leg but still allows the jeans to retain it's shape.

UGGs (as I've always ranted on) are so 2 years ago. Even worse is UGHs paired with miniskirts/shorts/dresses a la Pamela Anderson. Makes me vomit. They're basically petri dishes awaiting growth of environmental bacteria.

Coordinating shoe color with bag color with sunglass color with accessory color. Sorry it's really tacky and unoriginal.

Blond highlights over dark hair. Can anyone say trashy?

Forever 21. No introduction needed there.

Plastic bangles. It looks really cheap, and all those mall chicks think it's cute.

Guys wearing wifebeaters in public. It's either they have a lot of muscle, or no muscle. I mean come on, either way you're showing off or trying to show off something you have. Have some class, boys!

Boyfriend jeans. I don't get how the trend started, but I'm guessing Katie Holmes??

Exposed bra straps. UGH. It's so unclassy and unsexy.

Uggs.
Wet-look leggings that are too big for you, actually wet-look leggings in general.
River Island.... Everyone and I mean everyone where I live, lives in that shop.
Juicy Couture tracksuits.
Abercrombie and Fitch...... We don't even have that shop in Ireland and everyone wears it from head to toe.
White nail varnish??! Please.... no.

-skinny jeans tucked in boots, everything black and grey accessorized with dirty looking scarves, red lipstick especially on girls who 'don't have' lips...leather jackets+beaten-up t-shirts+skinny jeans or leggings+heels...boring&uniformed and soOO nicky hilton...
-it bags :because every trashy starlet carries one like a trophy, and doesn't even understand the beauty and history behind those designer names

Leggings. They remind me of the 80's. They look good on young girls who wear dresses. That looks cute. But not on older ladies, that looks like they are trying to look young. I prefer skinny jeans with a dress. That looks trendier.

every trend is just done..its all about creating your own..but not making it look like you are trying too hard..

Expensive Tees. I don't see the point of spending $$$ money on a tee *cough* cough*(Alexander Wang). The quality is not better that most and like "regular tees" they eventually shrink and get old.

I'm really sick of the expensive sneakers with the giant tops on them with the jeans tucked inside to show off the enormous flap. Also that thing where you clip back the hair just over your forehead, into a stupid little poofball on the top of your head, really needs to die.

^ Ugh I hate that "poof". Some girls think it's cute, but it looks like you have an abscess on the top of your head.
On the subject of ridiculous hairstyles, I hate it when girls only flat iron their bangs or the front parting of their hair and leave the rest curly or undone. I don't know it bothers me a little.

I agree with the poof; what makes it worse is that I've seen a lot of girls here put a mini-claw clip to hold it in place...ugh.

oh dearie and the straightened bangs, I don't get it too.

gotta agree with the leggings...except on my 4 year old daughter. she looks so cute with hers on, with a dress

pigeon-toed, x-legged, etc. etc, type poses in streetstyle pix, blog pix, etc.

That's the unfortunate way I stand naturally. It's bc my one leg is ever so shorter than the other (not visibly, but I can feel it), and it's made me a little crooked. I have a lift in one shoe, but that's still the most comfortable way for me to stand unfortunately. I have to make a conscious effort to stand up straight on my two feet instead of throwing my weight on one leg. It's terrible, I know.

^oh i don't mind that. i was refering to the attitude so often present in streetstyle and blog photos. the subjects are so self-aware, as though they dress in the hopes of getting stopped on the street. and they pose accordingly.

The poof I haven't worn it although I'm tempted to try faux bangs. The poof is somewhat of a variation it's pinned back instead of forward.

That being said I'm also tired of hippie head bands.

I've never heard of faux bangs . Are they like clip on extensions, except for bangs?

Ooooooh my God just gooo away!! In fact I'm just totally sick of seeing the same styles and aspects of fashion repeated in streetstyle blogs, almost regardless of the city! :innocent:
Also really can't take the amout of people I see with make-up the same colour as this icon -> Just no.
