aren't those just flip-flops?
yes, technically. but people at my school wouldnt be caught dead wearing "regular" flip flopss that look EXACTLY like haviannas:rolleyes:. they have to pay 20 extra bucks for the little name on the strap. the whole concept makes me sick, not just the trend:sick:

i'm sick of people who wear things they think are ugly but they wear it anyways because it's "cool"...

Ugh me either, I really want to just PING one on someones forehead, I am scared I will do whilst whilst drunk.

Tory Burch shoes in the Washington DC area. an extra $100 for a big gold medallion that is like advertising a price tag for ballet flats. Plain wood wedge slides with a singlr leather strap for $225 with a big leather TT logo and $185 for China made jeans tith a single gold logo on the tight back pocket like you have pierced jeans...

leggings with overly big sweaters on top.
small t-shirts w/ belts. you don't need a belt if you're going to be wearing a t-shirt
that doesn't even cover your belly button!!!

tight deep v-necks on men, esp with chest hair :yuk:

and gladiator sandals are more 2005

I am absolutely tired of leather (bomber) jackets.
Everybody has them here. Everybody

And of course hipster glasses, gladiator sandals, buns or ponytails that are too high on the head, and then there's these shoes.. white, sort of cheap canvas sneaker looking shoes that everybody, again, is sporting.

This is getting way beyond weird that people are proud to own these. Some girls in my class buy 3 pairs of them at once because, oh no, those shoes are not durable.
so much wisdom, jmkamm.. :P
agreed with everything  .
especially the leather jacket... I have one, but don't wear it much anymore and today it was a little chilly and I thought, well, everything's dirty and uninspiring, I'm gonna give that jacket one last chance and take her around town.. oh god , I crossed paths with at least 8 people wearing similar jackets, definitely not a good day for self-esteem.
not wearing it again, unless I go to Timbuktu....

Oh god yes! I'm sick of seeing boys in clubs with their chests out and some sort of tacky pendant necklace nestling in the hair like a rat. Russell Brand doesn't look good, he looks ridiculous, why on earth try to copy him, it looks tragic!

I know exactly what you mean. Indie became fashionable this decade and suddenly everyone looks the same. I've had my shrunken leather jacket since 1996, and my white pumps have been treading dirty venue floors for about five years, and now suddenly everyone is wearing the same stuff. I hate it.

What winds me up the most is that I had a hard time finding the plaid shirts, the jeans, the trainers etc. Now they're bloody everywhere! Cheap.

I hatehatehatehate it when you're wearing something before everyone else is and then everyone else starts wearing it and you can't wear it because you feel like a follower now.

That happened to me with boho a few years back. I had been wearing gold bangles and flowy skirts and flat sandals for ages and then suddenly it was everywhere. And I was wearing headbands loooooooong before the whole Gossip Girl trend started. I was wearing high-waisted skirts YEARS before they became popular. I bought bright colored tights years before they were fashionable. Rawr.

^ totally agree with that! i was at a store not too long ago & a girl had her dog & it peed on her...serves her right

^ :rofl::rofl::rofl:
Primping up dogs in ridiculous frilly outfits is just outrageous! I'm sure my dogs would hate that kind of humiliation. Whatever happened to the simple neck collar or hat?

Two-tone hair, either like this or extreme contrasting streaks.

^^^ Ugh! They are so painfully numerous here in California.

I really hate how the "indie" look is now in. It just really feels like people are following in on a trend that really had a great blossoming years back and destroying it by mass producing these cookie-cutter looks. It's terrible!

Personally I am utterly sick of slouch hats.

Everyone and their mothers has one it feels like.

I can't stand guys with deep V shirts. Gladiators are getting painfully overdone. Fedoras are a little old, I mean...there are so many great hats out there! Girls wearing t-shirts with leggings as pants. They all look so....mundane.

^^uh!! i HATE that!! the "scene" people at my school do that all the time! one girl had black on top, turquoise underneath, AND she had rainbow raccoon strype extensions in some places!! :yuk:
