Trends You Are Sick Of #1

I don't know if it applies on this thread but I am sick of women of all ages with fake melon-like boob jobs. Especially when tiny bitsy or very tight tops are worn over them... And too much cleavage is definitly a no no. They are everywhere these days; on the streets, in offices, etc, etc... Very unsightly, tacky and vulgar.

And of course, everything American Apparel. Even their photo shots are always awful. A real eyesore... Ouachhh!

...But of course, cleavage is rather chic for the evening, but not during daytime while doing the groceries... Please, cover this humongous crack and wear it with stylish clothes, not under a camisole!

Neon-coloured skinny jeans
fake HoH T-Shirts with inane slogans in gigantic letters

Hey H&M teenz who wear that - you look stupid! Also I bet just a year ago when you were all into polka dots and Mando Diao you sweared you'd be indie forever (definition of indie: CUTE HAIRDO).

arghh! i know!! i hate those shirts!!! so annoying!!! http://readysetrace.livejournal.com/ check this out ! can i just say "originality and creativity"??!

I hate this trend we have here, not actually a trend, it's always "in" among some girls and women here. Wearing full-make up (when I say full make up I do really mean FULL - it's like all the content of a make up bag was used at once) and really high heeled shoes *the ones you'd wear for a night out, very dressy* in the early morning + all the jewellery golden rings they own worn at once, even 2 golden rings on same finger...
I don't know maybe it's just me with the preference for a much more mimimalist look, but I think it's just wrong.

Bib-front tops. They have had their time now, and rarely look interesting or chic anymore.

I am also getting kinda sick of high-heeled lace-ups. There are so many not-very-interesting versions that I just get a bit sick of looking at them. I bought some a while back, and only once have they seemed like a more interesting or apt option than another pair of shoes. They just seem fashionable for its own sake. I wish I had not bought them. :(

I think only the AA overdose (from head to toe and preferrably in bright colors) is annoying. Basically all their clothes are basics and wardrobe staples and I don't think there is anything wrong with wearing a plain skirt or shirt every now and then combined with another item from you wardrobe.

Yeah I agree. Only head-to-toe AA annoys me, because separately their items are all rather basic. Therefore I find the Urban Outfitters looks way more irritating. A total lack of originality. It's getting warmer recently in the UK and all the Sienna-Miller-led boho looks came back immediately in my town: gypsy skirt with a big belt, etc. It's like the summer uniform!

^i agree! but its not a trend and i doubt it will become one anyway

I agree with you...I shouldve clarified, you're right about the AA clothing being mostly basics. It's just the overall head to toe look that bugs me a lot. And the Sienna Miller style is just so overdone now. I think a lot of Urban Outfitters pieces are nice paired with other things that aren't boho style.

LEGGINGS. Min dieu, shoot me if I ever have to see another pair of them pushed up mid-calf or ankle length, or whatever. It's not attractive, please stop anyone who wears them, haha.

I also agree about the head-to-toe AA. I like AA tees and dresses for just comfy, casual garments, but I'm sick of all the "hipsters" wearing it.
