Trends you regret trying

la sounds quite similar to wales  i hate that preconception that gay people are more fashionable, when i'm in gay bars here i wonder if i'm the only one who even knows what vogue magazine is. pokemon hair, polo shirts and distressed jeans do not a fashion icon make ^_^

POKEMON HAIR!!!!

well mine sure would be those black and silver space boots i bought when i was like 13 or so...they were soooo heavy and ridicilous with jeans!WHAT WAS I THINKING?!

I regret trying ballet flats, only because I now have scars on my feet from them. I think my feet are weird.:lol:

The sad thing is, I had to throw them away, because I knew if I kept them, I would wear them again, regardless of the pain. That's what beauty is about, right? ;) I still love the look, though.

Make sure you find ones that are sturdy with good soles, Day. :flower:

I don't usually regret trying trends- I regret buying them and then never wearing them. But one trend I brought and tried were newsboy caps, just simply could never leave it on long enough.

I don't understand the problems everyone is having with ballet flats. I think theyre the most comfortable and cute thing in the world!

platform sneakers circa 97- and glitter!! I still have pictures to remind me...haha..i thought i was soo cool at the time!

I admit to wearing that colored hair mascara stuff. Like putting big streaks of purple or blue or green in.

It's an embarassing time to look back on...I wouldn't leave the house unless I had some crunchy painted rainbow-hued stripes in my hair. But hey, I was like 11, I think it's forgivable. I hope.

I had those as well. I remember thinking how cool I looked.

I can't think of any trends that I really regret...which tells me that maybe I haven't been adventurous enough in my fashion experimentation.

Most of the trends passed me by when I was younger. So no Dorothy Hamill bowl cut or Farrah Fawcett wings. No MC Hammer pants. No parachute pants. You know the 80s.

I did buy a vest when it went on sale at Banana Republic. I feel kinda costumey in it, like I'm auditioning to be Annie Hall. I guess I kind of regret that one.

getting those oversized sunglasses a year ago wasnt a good idea..
i felt very uncomfortable the few times that i wore them, i should give them away asap

The trend I regret trying would be when I started highschool. I was the girl-next-door type of dresser then I got into hs and saw all these girls in halter tops and skirts and straight hair. I did that for a year and half and it was not me! Luckily I wised up before I graduated and now I look back and just laugh that I was that insecure to dress like a sl*t even though I'm not one. I swear.:innocent:

alright here it is

in the third grade i used to mix and match all the different colored converse all stars i had. it was very punky brewster of me.

in junior high i wore shell toed addidas RELIGIOUSLY!

in high school i went through this christiana aguilera stage that i wish i could take back. eck.

not to mention hard tail sweat pants were pretty down hill for me
