Lmao but that is why it works imo, i mean its Love no one expects cute clean girliness lol, if i notice her on the cover of any magazine at newstands i stop to see if i should buy it, and i am not even a fan or approve of her messed up lifestyle, its just she is faar more interesting than Bosworth's of today.

Yeah, but there's an area between this and Leighton Meester that Love has stepped into once or twice and not looked the worst for it. Her look *is* more flexible; it doesn't *have* to be Dealer's Favourite Girl. But I guess that's what her fans like about her . At least the interview should be interesting (on the assumption that there is one) and you're right, better Love than Bosworth or most of the women who get the mainstream covers these days. I don't fault the cover choice.

Well, we were warned in the cover rumour thread that Courtney was up to something for an Elle magazine. I don't mind seeing her every now and again - she makes mistakes, she muddles through, she has her own way of doing things - at least you're getting a human being, rather than another bland Hollywood package.

I don't like Courtney Love AT ALL. Just cannot warm to her, however from what I can see of the cover, I don't mind it. I love the bold choice of a black background against the stark pale tones of her skin. Don't mind the pose either.
But have to say I wouldn't buy it if I walked into a store and saw it sitting there. She's enough to turn me off.

I wouldnt call any of the comments in this thread hateful by any means compared to some other boards and their comments on Courtney, but thanks for your kind words dear. I just want to see a HQ of this cover!

And her album, still no official release date yet, though it is going on 5 years like others have mentioned since AS, which, if you followed Courtney's career (and it's a short record career) then you know that was not her best work.

I guess she has about enough songs to put out about 3 albums right now, but yet she's probably terrified to put out anything since her last album was such a tank and her fan base is pretty small these days, so the wait continues, if you're waiting.

I agree, worse things have been said about Courtney Love in other forums (just try ONTD), and if people "hate" her, it's not exactly unnecessary, she's done and said some crazy stuff that people aren't used to seeing or hearing. I personally will always have a soft spot for her inspite of her incessant name dropping and stream of consciousness interviews. She's always done these things consistently since the 90s, I can't hate on her based on those.
I like Elle UK, I can see how irrelevant Courtney Love may seem now, but they make it work. Still better than the usual suspects magazines put in covers.
