UK Vogue December 2006 : The 90th Anniversary Issue

its great, but i wonder why kate was put with the artists and not the models for the special shoot?

maybe because Kate is fan of art!
she bought some stuff @ Frieze fair

oh I can't wait for this to be available here! I think I have to wait until Friday...

this should come out here in about a month. i cannot wait!!

I bought this issue yesterday . I really don't like Kate Moss editorial photographed by Nick Night. Generally I am not a fan of Night's pics and this ed is disappointing too. It is boring and unintresting. I think that the idea of making an editorial called "The clothes that chenged our lives" was really great but unfortunetly picturies aren't something special and breathtaking. Besides this weak photographs I like this issue of Vogue. I am keen on cover and articles such as 90 years of vogue- images and 90 years of Vogue-models. It's nice to read a magazine and see how the trends, ideals of beauty etc. has been changing for last 90 years.

i seriously love this issue! i received it a few days ago - my boyfriend's father brought it over on his way from amsterdam schipol airport to SF. i am absolutely fascinated by the cover alone! so many wonder old covers on this issue - really fantastic! looking forward to sitting down and actually going through this one page by page.

this is the best issue i've read in a long time. really interesting to read abut past contributers etc.

I enjoyed that part the rest was such a letdown , I honestly think the industry should start boycotting Kate Moss I know she gets the job done but frankly I'm so bored of her. I'd much rather have read more past articles or seen more of the immense back catalogue of editorial work.

Bought it today  I have a hangover (lol) so it was the most amazing experience to read it with coffee and dark chocolate.. Suddenly I'm feeling a LOT better

I finally also managed to buy one issue.
I don´t like the Nick Knight editorial at all, but besides I think it´s really nice.

^^ I have to agree with you, I always find it so fascinating to read what was happening like 30yrs ago in Vogue etc. That is usually why I enjoy these kinds of issues the most, I like looking back into the past, because that's where we get our best ideas from

I unwrapped it like a treasure :D It arrived at subscribtion even earlier than Russian Vogue (I live here)! Love it from the 1st to the last page!

I purchased this tonight at Barnes & Noble, one of only 3 copies they had in stock :woot: The $10 price tag wasn't too comforting, but hopefully the reading and pictures it'll provide me will make up for that!

I picked up two copies at Barnes and Noble a couple of days ago. I thought it would have the supplement--all the copies at B&N and Border's had wide paper bands around them, the kind of thing mags use for supplements if they don't want to go the horrible polybag route.

From the comments here it doesn't seem like I missed much with the supplement but one still would like to see it if only for the sake of completeness.
