Mind you, the more I think about this issue, the more I agree with KhaoticKharma that there's a distinct lack of Naomi Campbell in this issue, considering how many other UK models get featured in all the line-ups. She's spent half her life being featured in the magazine, surely Vogue could spare her some space.

Is she not on any of the featured covers - there should be 80 covers in all, I guess (just checked, and she's just on 5 covers in all at Vogue UK, and surprisingly only one single girl only cover from the 90s)? Is there any feature of Celia Hammond inside? I don't know if too many recognize her but she's right under the G with the huge ear rings.

For someone as iconic as Omi, being on some mini-covers on the front and then absent inside, it's as if she's faded from the magazine's history, like some footnote from 1993. Considering that in the inside line-ups, someone of the calibre of Jodie Kidd is featured at least twice, the omission of Naomi just seems strange - and I can't imagine it was because she was too busy!

Sure, there's a mention of her in some article, one paragraph about her. Christy Turlington gets twice as much a mention.

I can't instantly remember any mention of Celia Hammond inside - but I have yet to read every page, because at least we don't get cheated on size with this issue. Plenty to see.

I bought it today and I really love this issue!! The edits are beautiful, I love the 'Welcome to our world' one and the "90 years of Vogue: images"-pages are great too

Yes, I think Jodie Kidd seems like a strange choice. It is a bit strange, perhaps "they" have some unresolved issue with Naomi.

I have to say that after having mixed emotions about the cover I've really grown to like it, Now I can't think of a better choice for cover. Shulman usually comes up with iconic year-end covers. How I wish I had the Gold and Silver Issues to go along with this one.

Well I bought it a couple days ago and it seems an interesting issue and I can't be bothered to read it yet, Im excited to read the articles somehow.
The cover is pretty exciting but just doesn't really scream ''fabolous (sp?) ''.
