I feel like Skirting the Issue had the makings of a better editorial but ultimately fell short.

The cover edit looks stunning as expected, but it's too disjointed. What's the point to Anna's outdoor shot?
I'm much more intrigued by Karim Sadli's editorial! There are some really strong shots here. Jean, Adwoah Aboah, and the girl in both the first image, and little black number against the coral leaves stand out for me. Great and glamourous set of images!

Imaan!! Jeez, that woman is such a STAR. She is absolutely slaying every single shot in this editorial. Why is she not booking campaigns left, right and center?

Lol, the cover edit is the worst offender, imo! May as well have been a celeb edit. I don't mean to say anything against the girls, just that Phelan clearly didn't had a proper moodboard for the styling.

All of the editorials are gorgeous, but it is clear Anna and Taylor did not bring their A-game to set. Imaan blows both girls out of the water. Taylor has the weakest images, and Anna looks tired.

Yeah I noticed that as well. The stylings in those eds are bland or even horrible, especially for the cover ed. Meanwhile I am thinking, maybe it's because collections are more and more boring and bland.
