I don't usually like to get into discussions concerning this topic, buy why are racial and national statistics on these women so relevant to you? Like honestly, what does it truly matter? This is not a magazine about culture, it's a magazine about fashion and above all, rich and famous. That's what this is, a display of power. Devon Aoki isn't there because the cover features most of Edward's past cover stars and she wasn't one of them.
I also have to ask, with such strong advocacy for Asian representation in Western magazines (which I agree, could and should be better), why is there not the same response to Asian magazines? You never see diversity in their magazines, aside from an occassional top model or celeb. It's always their local talent and celebrity figures that are predominantly featured and they never get pleas for diversity and representation like Western magazines do. There's hypocrisy in that, really.
