Unexpected Model Comebacks/Casting F/W 10.11

One thing this season is gonna be remembered for is the major high fashion comebacks.
We saw several Alexandria, Doutzen and Miranda at Prada.
Several VS models at Loewe, Giles and other shows. What do you think drove these comebacks?

I'm really surprised at how beautiful Rosie Huntington Whitely is on the runway. She has more prescence than most of the filler models on the runway and she didn't look short at all to me.

Delfine Bafort and Tanga Moreau (CK exclusive), both of whom I am quite happy to see. Jeisa as well, for if I am not mistaken she has not walked for a while.

Danielle Zinaich and Dewi Driegen also.There are quite a few.

Kristen McMenamy at Calvin Klein and at Viktor & Rolf.
Though it was a casting rather than a comeback. She's been in today's fashion scene for a while now.

What I meant was that Tanga was a CK exclusive, not her and Delfine both. Delfine was at Maison Martin Margiela, Haider Ackermann and Ann Demeulemeester. I apologize for that confusion.

Liya was at Balenciaga .
Delfine was a HUGE surprise ! I loved it too much . I loved the women of that era . Now all we need is An Oost, Rie, Caroline Ribeiro, and more back on the catwalks !

Karolina Kurkova was a great surprise too ! I love her . This season was by far the best in castings .

And Kim Peers along with them. She is still modeling but not on the same level as she was a decade ago. She was not at AF Vandevorst this season which she had been at regularly for a while.

Regardless, one can hope that the campaigns and editorials will have the same diversity.

Bianca Balti Probably the best comeback of the season.

Ana Beatriz and Karolina hands down. Was waiting for their return and it finally happened. I couldn't be happier. It was nice to also see Rosie and Bianca return.

I wouldn't really call Doutzen's Prada walk a comeback, it was just a one off thing to build up on that whole CFDA acceptance of curves thing, and plus she never really left high fashion, she just became more exclusive with her bookings after VS, but yes her being cast at Prada was definitely nice.
