Model Casting F/W 17

Worst cast ever at Miu Miu. Aside from the Insta and nepotism girls there were literally all nobodies.

Birgit Kos though

hermes was weird. was that maida?
mcqueen i thought was super young. too young and forgetful
Fenty puma looked like a katy grand show. is she on it?

Fenty Puma was styled by Tom Van Dorpe and cast by Piergiorgio del Moro and Samuel Ellis.

Hermes was cast by Maida and Arthur Méjean.

Surprised to see Maida still has a booking. She also cast Elie Saab.

Both Chanel and Miu Miu were boring as f*ck. Anyway, I'm happy to see Xiao Wen doing a show.

I won't be surprised if "worst cast" and "Miu Miu" are in the same sentence in the context of insta and nepotism girls. They've been a dumpster fire for three seasons for glorifying them, perhaps even more.

Reacting at that, I'm pulling Lexa's death in The 100.

Miu Miu so boring... But happy to see Birgit Kos I'm pretty sure she will book some good campaigns ( she screams Fendi haha ) also happy to see Dilia Martins I was wondering where she was ? Exclusive for Miu Miu maybe ?

Poor Miu Miu, it has lost everything, what a mess of a brand.

Not gonna lie, I kinda really loved the casting at Miu Miu. :ninja:  :ninja:

Rianne opened for LV. Alexandra Micu closed. Sora 2nd to last.

Pretty much all the campaign girls were exclusives.

I have almost fallen asleep with Louis Vuitton..

Great new faces at LV.I spotted at least 3 girls who can be major especially a blonde one who looked stunning!

Lais Oliveira and Brooke Perry were exclusive at LV. Quite surprising! They both walked the VSFS.

Very underwhelmed by everything at LV.

Underwhelmed by everything? Well this is the casting thread so lets go.
I for one thought again that this was a perfectly curated cast. Not a fan of Brokaw generally but she keeps delivering at LV. Fantastic core of main girls, some great new faces and some (semi-)regulars. Extremely well put together. Predictable? yes, to an extent. But fitting the LV ideal to a t so job well done.
In fact the level of loyalty NG manifests to his girls in this day and age is astounding in an otherwise super unloyal business. I cant think of any A-list designer in recent times that has been this unconditionally loyal. Perhaps Ralph Lauren with Valentina and Kors with Karmen Pedaru had a similar dynamic but both are history by now.

^ I agree.

I thought LV was perfect! So many fresh and beautiful girls and Nicolas' loyalty is something very rare nowadays. Even a complete has-been like Line Brems still walks the show every time.

I liked LV, it can be cookie-cutter to some extent because of Nicolas loyalty. But it's one of the few shows were I always see a face that is particularly interesting, which is not all that common for me at least.

Rarely ever does Louis Vuitton pull a one and done exclusive, he seems to switch out girls each season.

That was neat! They both molded well with the rest of the girls. It reminded me of his stint with Miranda Kerr.

And at first glance I thought Brooke was Kirstin Liljegren.

Wow, so that was Brooke Perry! She blended in quite nicely.

I thought the LV cast was great and far from boring. I don't really know what people are expecting? Strippers on stilts?
