US Vogue April 2025 : Gigi Hadid by Annie Leibovitz

It looks more like an old British Harper's Bazaar cover than Vogue US including the font.

I'd like to see the print version of this with more cover blurbs. So far, it's interesting but not as striking as last month's cover with Sabrina.

It may be difficult to believe, but there was a time when fame, or even a career in fashion, felt far from inevitable to @GigiHadid. Yes, she booked her first modelling job at age two, but as a young adult, Hadid also loved volleyball and criminal psychology and cooking. Anything she did, she wanted to do fully.

Here I was opening the thread hoping to see something sunny and vibrant with a model like Gigi, and instead we have this.

What a horrible cover.

I’m totally fine with this even though we’ve moved on from Gigi Hadid. I mean, who doesn’t know her? Is there really anything new to say? The shoot was decent and it’s great to see Annie back shooting covers for US Vogue. My only problem with the cover is that pose.

I like the cover because it does not look like it was shot by Leibovitz. I like the color scheme and Gigi looks good. The inside shots are lovely as well.

Really?? I instantly clocked it as Annie with that atrocious green color filter she always uses.

Everyone has moved on from Gigi Hadid bar Anna - the woman is stuck in 2016

People want to see Vitto, Anok, Alex Consani etc. if you are going to use a model it should be one who is actually of the moment and has something new to say not the same rehash of wow I can’t believe I became a model as a 5”10 rich white girl from Malibu

Anyway these are the perks of being Anna’s darling and dating Bradley Cooper because even her instagram likes are dead at this point yet she’s still scoring covers like this?

I hope a few of these pictures get repeated in other editions, because some of them are beautiful, although the random one-shot appearance of Neelam makes me wonder if we're missing a lot of other images which didn't make the cut.

I can see the resemblance to a UK Bazaar editorial, although generally, their posh houses are in much better condition.

The editorial photos are quite stunning, the clothes look fantastic and I'm surprised the styling wasn't done by Grace. And while the wrong Hadid sister looks so pedestrian it almost takes me out of the beautifully sombre mood of this story, it seems like we're in for another nice issue of American Vogue. Now if only the damn cover didn't look mouldy...
