US Vogue December 2017 : Meryl Streep by Annie Leibovitz

Love Meryl, love that she hasn't been photoshopped to death, but this seems like a missed opportunity. This looks so blah, and I'm not blaming Meryl.

I'll just say I love Meryl and I deeply respect her. I won't say anything else. Seeing her face made me want to watch a movie with her tonight. :)

Stunning choice, but she deserves a better concept than this

Beautifully unexpected to see Meryl on the cover. I don't remember them ever having a woman her age on the cover, love it.

The cover itself is not excting & the layout is wrong, but what a gorgeous, and most IMPORTANTLY honest portrait of Streep!!! Not just to have her on the cover, but to let her look her age, wow, RESPECT!

Oh, and REALLY? You are still going on about the 125th anniversary? Gigi Hadid? Pharrell? Special Issue?

Hard pass! I thought we were done with that yapping after Sept!

Just here for Meryl, and the movie looks great. Wintour was good friends with Graham, so no wonder she put Streep on the cover for this movie.

I think when you have such a larger-than-life legend like Meryl on a cover, you really don't need big styling and production. Just a good portrait and she sells the whole thing by herself. And that's what they did right here. It's a perfect December cover.

I don't like it, her expression with those green eyes makes me think of the Addams family.

Pharrell and Imaan on the cover of a special subscriber version!

^Special subscriber cover featuring Pharrell & Imaan Hammam by Mario Testino and styled by Lucinda Chambers:

That Imaan cover would have been almost perfect without thirsty *** Pharrell creeping over her.
Love Meryl, but her cover looks like a holiday issue of Martha Stewart Living.

The Meryl cover is beautiful, a little boring but still. They should've chosen a better pose for Pharrell, because that one is tragic.

I love Meryl, Hate that cover. Vogue NEVER know what to do with her! Her last Vogue cover wasn't all that great. The Imaan one could do without Pharrell tho....

OH MY GOD!! IM IN LOVE WITH THE COVER! HONESTLY I JUST SAW THE TRAILER FOR THE POST AND THOUGHT “OH THAT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE Meryl Streep ON VOGUE” and BAM HERE IT IS!!

IM JUST HAPPY THAT SHE LOOKS LIKE HERSELF AND NOT PHOTOSHOPPED TO DEATH. MERYL WILL WIN THE OSCAR COME FEBRUARY!

Also, Imaan’s subscribers cover is flawless! Could have done without Pharrell, but hey!

Is this the second time we’ve gotten a subscribers cover after Beyoncé’s in 2013?

Awful... Meryl is not bland and brown and grey and khaki and ugh.
And the styling with Pharrell & Imaan is uber tacky.
What a disappointment.

I think its nice to see her on the cover... though the photograph itself is not appealing. I do love the Imaan's cover.... hopefully I will receive that one in the mail..:P

I get a weird feeling from that cover. I hate the colors on it, i don't know, it just falls flat. It's a bit boring and "sad" and I hate the background of the image, it looks dated. But at the same time wow, I love the "real" feeling that comes from it. It's good that they didn't photoshop the hell out of her!
