US Vogue February 2012 : Taylor Swift by Mario Testino

Not a single girl of color in this issue. SMDH. Anna, go kick rocks!!

I know! It's so annoying. Without a diversity of people everyone just looks the same. And it's boring too.

I really don't like how they edited Taylor's editorial... it's really weird. It doesn't seem very Vogue to me.

I'm subscribed to it, but not directly via them, but a company from my country that deals with this and I dont have any access to anything.

I hated that huge hair when Vogue Nippon did it, and i certainly hate it here as well!

^ Yeah, that's it.. I was reminded of Karmen's ed styled by ADR which I hated. Horrible wig.

How unfortunate, another love/hate issue. Everything about the cover is new and lovely enough for it to be pleasing, but there is something off about the angle of Taylor's face. I don't know if I could tolerate leaving this out on my coffee table for long. In terms of the content, I like some of the styling and casting choices but, again, I can find plenty to hate about the issue.

Swift´s editorial is Mario´s same old same old... it even has a vibe of his US Vogue 2009 editorial with Trentini & Werbowy, "City of Dreams"

http://fashiongonerogue.com/city-of-dreams-by-mario-testino/

i wish the editorial was more like this...
girl comes to big city with nothing and makes her dreams come true...
she's singing, she's going on auditions, she's shopping at barney's...
this is too hippie/70s, "i'm with the band"...

is there such thing as a chic hippie? Cause that's what I'm feeling with Taylor's spread....but not in a good way if that makes sense. It looks very over-styled to me

I adore the cover: the hat, her straight hair, the 70s vibe... it's a good cover for Vogue

I have a question for subscribers: I´ve read that if you´re a subscriber you´ll get a limited access to the new Vogue digital archive... is it true? any of you got access?
I'd like someone to chime in on this, too. I do subscribe but am currently in subscriber-limbo as I've just renewed. I was really looking forward to this "limited access" I was hearing about but I haven't heard anything about it since.

Love In The Afternoon reminds me of Natalia V ed in July 2010 issue
