US Vogue March 2007 : Jennifer Hudson by Annie Leibovitz

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAY
MY SELMA BLAIR!!!!

(if only she was on the cover and not bigmouth JHud)

Yes she's a singer but I'm guessing she only made the cover for her acting. Unless you wanna tell me that Vogue gave her the cover based on being 6th runner up on American Idol. Or maybe because they're trying to project the image that she will forever be typecast as the loud(and apparently big)-mouthed singing diva that couldn't cut it in a movie that actually required acting sans loud singing? Hence the wide open mouth and open legs.

And just to add...I can understand her mouth being open in the silver dress shot since she obviously looks like she's singing but the the cover shot is an overwhelming cheap shot taken at AA women.

It is terrible. It's worse than I expected. What is she doing with her mouth? And why isn't she looking at the camera?

I think shes posed like that so that her collarbones stick out, which gives the illusion that shes 'thin'.
It's like Anna is trying to reassure the reader...'Im still not gonna but a fat girl on the cover!'

It's Unfortunate. Vogue has completely lost it's direction.
They feature some of the most lovely women and make
them look positively...
:sick::sick::sick:

This Should have been so much better.

Le Sigh.

Its like they took the worst picture imaginable. Way to ruin something that could have been incredible Vogue.

Let me not complain too much though, its still a small step.

That's how I see it. I like the gown and dress selection, though.

Sorry but I think it looks cheap..perfect for a Glamour or Elle cover, but not for Vogue  ah well I think it perfectly describes the status US Vogue is in :innocent:

Agreed ^_^

that cover is so mediocre, something Elle or InStyle would use.......how BAD!!!

Anna this is for you:hardhead:  ;) ^_^

Actually I think she should be fired..I know it's not going to happen and I know some might disagree but US Vogue has been so bland lately. I'd love to see someone at US Vogue who pays more attention to the creative side of a magazine instead of looking in which way you can make the most money. I think Anna is a perfect business women  but that's all.

why do they feature Anna Netrebko, again??? she always looks tacky (style-wise).

WOW are they serious?????WTF???
That is the cover????
Sooo disappointing this does not looks Vogue but whatever i will support this for the obvious reasons.

ps:Christiano Ronaldo in US Vogue?Huh?

 I'm so disappointed, I had high expectations of this cover and its a real let down

ITA. It makes me wonder if this was done on purpose? Kinda like saying, "Well, we put a plus-size Black woman on the cover and no one liked it. See? You you so!, ".

Anna Wintour must go!

The pictures are extremely bad, I'm shocked actually.

I don't get it.

As much as I am unimpressed with the pictures, I still encourage everyone to go out and support it. :flower:

I wonder how many readers could pick Ronaldo out of a lineup of soccer players!
