Yes she's a singer but I'm guessing she only made the cover for her acting. Unless you wanna tell me that Vogue gave her the cover based on being 6th runner up on American Idol. Or maybe because they're trying to project the image that she will forever be typecast as the loud(and apparently big)-mouthed singing diva that couldn't cut it in a movie that actually required acting sans loud singing? Hence the wide open mouth and open legs.

And just to add...I can understand her mouth being open in the silver dress shot since she obviously looks like she's singing but the the cover shot is an overwhelming cheap shot taken at AA women.

It is terrible. It's worse than I expected. What is she doing with her mouth? And why isn't she looking at the camera?

I think shes posed like that so that her collarbones stick out, which gives the illusion that shes 'thin'.

It's like Anna is trying to reassure the reader...'Im still not gonna but a fat girl on the cover!'

Actually I think she should be fired..I know it's not going to happen and I know some might disagree but US Vogue has been so bland lately. I'd love to see someone at US Vogue who pays more attention to the creative side of a magazine instead of looking in which way you can make the most money. I think Anna is a perfect business women but that's all.
