US Vogue March 2007 : Jennifer Hudson by Annie Leibovitz

The reason I don't buy US Vogue anymore is because all their edits
look exactly the same, What's different about Natalia in Morocco, or Prague, or Venice, or Daria in Argentina, or Liya in Brazil. It seems that Anna's sense of creativity means that you send someone to another location and have Tesino photograph and Coddington style. We'll also get another Miesel location shoot that will look exactly the same way his last three location shoots have looked.

i don`t see any text in the picture which is tellin` about models inside
and on Coco site in the upcoming projects is Patrick demarchelier`s one from us vogue
anyway we`ll see in the near future

Right on the first page it says: "Quirky cool Agyness Deyn, the latest beauty from Britain, showcases the season's essentials"

Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh but....

 Stop the b!tching. Get mad, get glad, scratch you butt, she's on the cover and there is NOTHING any of you can do about it but not buy the issue (which you will, because it's the giant spring issue).

Sorry. Had to get that off my chest.

I've just seen only 2 eds now but those look kinda boring...:ninja: Hope there will be more different eds...
Anyway thanks for the pics, seanutbutter.

Natalia! :buzz:

And a new model: Agyness!

Agyness is making Vogue US for the second time...
anyway... Agyness editorial looks really bad... They manage to make her look very american-ish-WASP-ish... I don't like that... but, hey, it's Vogue US.:innocent:
about Natalia... well the stylism looks very interesting. I like it. it's basic but good and I like how the editor use the Prada minidress with a xxl white shirt (I think this is the first time I see this minidress styled this way and it's a good point, imo.) the white theme is so often used and re-used... and I'm bored with it... (by the way, the title of this story is a bit inappropriate imo... white russian...) but there it looks pretty good... and it does match with the Marocco vacation background... I am not extatic nor bored...
and I don't care if it's Natalia...

but i'm waiting for the rest... as this is their spring BIGGEST issue ever (what a lie...) I hope there's gonna tons of editorials... and not tons of ads.

Thank you!

I'm dying to know what the other editorials are like. I reckon Coco, Hilary, Sasha and Caroline will be featured

To me it's a landmark cover - I love the carefree, happy vibe, combined with her distinctive personality and flawless face. Pose might be a little awkward, but it adds some drama. The face shot is just perfect.

I'm so happy to see Natalia again! Her US Vogue editorials are always the best! ^_^

I love Natalia`s eds! happy to see her beautiful smile again.
she always looks so adorable..:)
oh, the ed with Agyness seems great, too. American vogue start to love her,i think :)

good point!:flower:

According to Conde Nast it is not supposed to go on stands until February 27th. That is a little later than usual.

^Hmm,hmm thats a little odd/suspect:innocent: ! Anyhow its a nice cover I will buy it when I go to the bookstore, haven't bought a Vogue in awhile.

Shouldn't it be sold sooner rather than later so it could be on newstands longer and therefore sell more copies?

Exactly...but do they really want it too?! Makes me wonder,b/c than they'd have to put a 'Hudson' on the cover sooner than every 5 years or more.

Maybe they're waiting until after the Oscars. They're probably betting that Hudson will win for Best Supporting Actress, and more people will be interested in reading about her then.
