US Vogue March 2025 : Sabrina Carpenter by Steven Meisel

What's the record for March? I only have the one from 10 years ago, more than 600 pages.

Never uderstood why SS has less than the FW issue. Argentinian magazines had the same number for March and September (+ December)

Drew Barrymore's March 2008 issue is, if I remember correctly, the largest spring issue ever coming in at a whopping 660 pages and no one has beaten that record since.

Speaking of large March issues, this is kind of funny -- an article about worldwide EICs of Vogue published in 2011: Vogue's own front row: editors from around the world

"Yolanda Sacristán, Spain, first published in 1988. In 2006, the 10,006-page March Vogue España represented its largest-ever issue, weighing in at 2.7kg."

This is obviously a typo, I think it was over 1,000 pages (not 10,000), which would have made it the largest issue of Vogue ever published, except that they bound the regular March issue to the "Collections" supplement in order to break the record. I've actually tried to find this issue of Vogue Espana on eBay, but there are none available with the "Collections" attached, just the regular issue.

I remember in the 00s when I first started reading fashion magazines, the paper quality of Vogue was so good. I specifically remember a wonderful "crinkle" sound when I would turn the pages with every issue, because of the specific type of stock they used, and it felt like such a luxurious experience. (I was obsessed with magazines and remember this detail, even so many years later).
Yes! I started collecting magazines back in the 90s and the images looked fantastic. Now everything is so grainy and just awful on the paper they use now. I have no idea why people tolerate such poorly printed magazines. If you're going to print something, make it count. People who don't notice a difference in paper quality did not get to experience the good stuff from back in the day. 😂

Where’s the magazine thread here at tfs? Vogue spain march 2006?

They probably just made a special printing of it for the world record. You can see what the regular and supplement looked like here. I'm sure the record breaking edition is in their archives or something.

Not the supplement having more pages than the magazine 😭

But if we are fair, and considering the magazine's page + suplement's page, the september issue of Vogue Italia in 2014 had aprox. 1054 pages between both.
