Versace F/W 11.12 : Saskia de Brauw, Candice Swanepoel & Sean O'Pry by Mert & Marcus

Having seen the whole set of pics, I still stand by it being one of the better campaigns this season.
Some shots work better than others and that really depends on the outfit involved. Saskia IMO is not trying to be sexy at all, but emotes a very powerful look....which is well suited to the surroundings.
Sean also fits well here, apart from that last shot which surely is a joke.......he looks as camp as Xmas.

This turned out pretty gorgeous in the end. The poses that Saskia is working are just so striking, and coupled with the coloring, the way the light in her eyes was enhanced to look like there's fire burning in them, the warmth of the gold jewelry against her icy white skin, the intensity of the colored clothes...it's really beautiful. She's like a warrior or something, but a warrior caught in a moment of calm.

My one complaint is that they didn't include any of the red pieces from the collection. Against that background one of the red coats or dresses would have looked amazing.

I have to agree with you and that's unfortunate because I'm a huge sean o'pry fan...but seriously I can't help but laugh at his pics...they're terrible...

I wish Maria Carla would have been selected...she could've brought some much needed attitude to this campaign (man or woman)

it's nice that versace decided to use "new faces" for their campaign but they picked the wrong ones overall, nice but not super.
