I think Riccardo Tisci is already there, you can see it clearly on this collection!

The transparent mesh with flowers, the words, the highly infused streetwear...

Not good. It's like she can't produce a memorable collection anymore. Stop mixing sportswear with it!

I hate the most part of the clothes. Some of them are like Wang x Moschino. I'm tired of the sport thing. Move on.

I think I saw him sitting on the chair with Donatella before the streaming, but I'm not sure.

This. I bet they were really inspired by his s/s 14 collection.
This is so weird. If they had used better editing, this would be more interesting because that last part of the show wasn't that bad. And I just don't know how anyone agreed to put the random "empowering" words like loyality or equality on the clothes. While with Gurung's t-shirts it felt really honest, this is just to make $$$ because it's trendy and hot right now. And it looked as awkward as their take on sporstwear.
Really, they need a new creative director or at least a new senior designer, because it's going in a really bad direction.

This looks like a collection she'd do for Adidas or Nike, not a house show.

It's like they've lost their brand identity, I don't see any of the ques that made Versace so great originally. I get moving on, but there's a point where you lose all sense of self, and I think Donatella's already gone far beyond that.

The beanies with the wording reminded me of Alexander Wang F/W 2016.

Donatella, girl what happened?

I really hope this wasn't her last show. She needs to go out with a glamorous couture collection, not this try-hard pandering sportsluxe mess.

Milan has been incredibly disappointing so far.

I love Versace, I love Donatella but NO, NO, NO!
It already feels dated. A collection done by a "trend office". They just throwed everything in that.
It's bad, bad, very very bad. Maybe one of her worst show ever.

I'm very upset about this because it's not like she doesn't have her own archives or Gianni's archives to tap into. You wants to do down jackets, slogans, athletic? The S&M collection had some of the most extraordinary down jackets ever.

I can literally put this whole show in the Outfit-look-alike thread. From the Balenciaga fur scarf to the try-hard styling. THOSE BEANIES!:ninja:
Only the fur coats on Natasha & Immaan, the bags and the shoes were great.

THOSE SLOGANS! I'm all for ironic, tongue-n-cheeks slogans but i'm tired of those equality, love, diversity stuff. Show it, it will be enough.

Something is wrong with Versace. The Couture collection was flawless and now, we have this mess...It's impossible to believe that it was done by the same team (if that's the case).

I thought Tisci was going to be the new designer...and not Alexander Wang! This kind of trendy streetwear is not Versace at all.

I guess I'm in the minority in that I liked it. Granted not everything worked but I thought a lot of these clothes were really nice and wearable. Better than S/S 17, that's for sure.

This was rather surprising to say the least. With all the talk of her stepping down I thought for sure it was be more self-referential from her and Gianni legacy. The problem with this collection to me seems like it was so focused on what's trendy, like those beanies. :ninja:

Do I the only one to be super excited by the casting?

No you're not :blinks:
The opening was pure fire. I honestly think the casting made the collection much better. It's not a bad collection but not great as well.. However how can you not love it when Hana, Mariacarla, Anja, Natasha, Amber are wearing it? They rule the catwalk.

Amazing cast. I have mixed feelings about the collection, though. I like most of it but many of the clothes don't feel like Versace.
