I don't think I've shared this before, but I've been scanning all the covers of my collection and uploading them to Flickr. I've been re-scanning them with my new scanner (because my old one was too small), then re-editing them in Photoshop. Scanning magazines is truly a Sisyphean task sometimes!

question though, how do we achieve HQ scans without tearing out the pages? Because they're quite fragile...

@alwaysademo Unfortunately, I used to tear my magazines apart. I did have a large profession scanner that I'd set for the highest quality scan. Took forever, but was worth it. On another note, your scans look perfectly fine. Nice to see images from Elle France!

That's what I thought would make the best quality scans. My mum still has an amazing collection but the way she mistreated them (she tore out all the best pages) makes me feel like I need to compensate with extra tenderness.
and you're being kind, my scans are so sh*t compared to yours, I'm embarrassed to even post tbh But thank you so much for always posting the Horsts and the Sterns and Penatis day in day out, the effort defo don't go unnoticed, I love them. If I happen to come by some rare cool Bill King eds and whatnot I'll share them with you in the highest quality possible, promise.
