Maria started off her modelling career at the tender age of 16, but not without a big bang. Walking in 41 shows in her first season (ss05), she showed that she had the versatility and grace to walk the high fashion runways.

Maria has nabbed many campaigns and editorials since beginning, including Akris, Swarovsky and Holt Renfrew. She is a favorite model of photographer Geoff Barrenger, after working with him on one of her first photo shoots, and many after that.


Part 2:

Maria spent all of her life cooking and cleaning for her evil stepmother and stepsisters. One day, on her way to the supermarket, Maria took a wrong turn. She looked around her. Dozens of gorgeous, tall and thin girls were bustling about, getting dressed and doing their makeup. Suddenly, a man with a clipboard grabbed her arm. Before you could say "Bibbity Bobbity Boo" Maria was wearing a silk ruffled dress and was pushed out onto the catwalk.

She had never walked before, but she found a great confidence in herself when she walked the runway...from that day on, she promised never to let her stepmother and stepsisters push her around. Smiling slyly, Maria looked forward to her new life as a top model.​

First of all, all your entries were really wonderful! I enjoyed to read about the models, your part two stories were good and the pictures were gorgeus! I adore the models you have picked more and more and I’m happy to know their beauty will continue in many, many new challenges. Special mention to sweetheart adi who replaced Shannan Click for this challenge! That’s a noble thing to do. I appreciate it so much and I’m sure 5avenuemarceau will too.

Ai Tominaga – funkalicious

The outfit she is wearing is very ethreal and straight out of fairy tales! I love the light yellow breeze. The gown looks magical on Ai. The curly hair is a finishing touch which I also like. Ai is looking very very beautiful! I love her eyes, I love her bone structure! Altogheter, Very nice entry.

Anja Rubik – milamar
SENSATIONAL! That’s how she is looking. Everything is perfect. That dress is so beautiful and I love the colour paired with Anjas lovely tan! The makeup is beauuutiful and the hair isn’t bad also! Yes, Anja looks bit shy in the second picture but she is just too beautiful. Something whispers of supermodel..She looks gorgeus. I love your entry very much!

Bette Franke – masquerade
Your story made me giggle! Bette is wearing nice dress, I like it. I love her hair there too! But the best thing about this entry is definatley her smile! Which is radiant and cute and confident at the same time. I love her smiling! She is just one gorgeus young thing. I also like the first part! Very cute and NICE entry.

Cameron Russell – laurlaur
The first picture is great! Her smile is so charming, she looks so beautiful and lovely. She looks like super nice personality. In the second picture she is so serious and it partly breaks the illusion. The dress looks beautiful on her and it just feels right. Nice entry.

Caroline Winberg – uberchic
I love your story there! It’s like from the fairytales Complain: I think that instead of the backstage picture, you should’ve posted an closeup but either way it’s ok, because Caroline is looking amazing! I love the dramatic black outfit, it’s beyond amazing! She looks so confident and beautiful...I really envy her. The hair is nice and I like it that it’s simple, so the look isn’t so excessive. GREAT entry!

I love your part two story! The first part was also very enjoying to read. And I love the runway pictures, especially the first one! The big black gown matched with her red hair looks so lovely and it’s beautiful to watch. The second picture looks bit weird – but you can see her lovely green eyes there..Great, great entry!

The first part – wow, 78 shows? That’s crazy! The second part – crazily gorgeus! She isn’t cute this time, she is striking, beautiful and sexy! Well, in the second picture, there are hints of cuteness but she is still incredibly stunning! The outfit makes sense on her, I love white and silver togheter. I also enjoyed the writing part. In every way, this is STUNNING entry!

The first part; if s/s 06 was her breaktrough season then how long has she modeled and so? But anyhow I love your part two story. Irina is looking heartbreakingly cute! Her eyes..are those real eyes? They are so beautiful..Just like her face. The makeup and the hair are perfect..Irina is just such a person! She looks so intelligent here. Beautiful and cute entry!

Luca Gadjus - Mettchen
I thought she was from spain but now I know where she’s really from..thanks for clearing that. Luca is looking great ; That smile and the curls are a perfect match! I love the outfit too – it’s so simple but it works. Oh Lucas smile is just so radiant! She looks like such a sweetheart. Very nice entry!

I love the closeup picture! She looks so beautiful, the makeup is gorgeus and makes her eyes look even bigger! I just love her facial structure, she is such an classical beauty, stunningly gorgeus! The full runway picture, well the dress has an nice colour! It’s bit weird as it’s upside down but hey that’s v&r. Beautiful entry!

Mariacarla Boscono – aLoveSymphony
I love her look there! What she’s wearing, the makeup, the hair and the jewerly...definatley an ”after” moment! Maria Carla has grace, she looks like starts from past. The second runway picture is bit funny for the theme but she looks strinking and strong. She is just ..a personality! I LOVE your entry!

Marina Perez- kiki_sweetnes
Marina is from Spain? That’s news for me. Anyways ; Marina is bangingly beautiful in the runway picture!In the backstage one she looks bit scared or surprised to me but that’s expected if someone just proposed her. I love her make-up there; it makes her eyes stand out even more. I also love her hair and the outift is right too! You can never go wrong with LBD and big earings. That said, I like your entry very much!

Marta Berzkalna - Mr-Dale
Black with golden touch, I’m loving it! In the first picture, she looks so stiff but the close-up is better. Marta looks extremely beautiful, I love her blue eyes! Her eyes are so hypnotizing though they are bit red and swollen – it goes well with the story! Very nice entry!

Mona Johannesson – rachyroo
Mona is dazzling, lovely and charming! The outfit is wonderful on her! And the sunglasses add unexpected edge. The dress is indeed sparlking like Mona and her Ruby lips are lovely..all this with sleek hair..togheter is just so perfect and right! I can’t find negative things to say! She looks like and starlet. This is one WONDERFUL entry!

Ahh! Natalia is so cute, beautiful, lovely..she looks like an kind, loving and caring person – which she also is. She looks glowing in the pictures, just gorgeus. I love the dress with silver shoes! I just can’t get over how cute and everything she is. She creates an wonderful atmosphere around here that you can see in the pictures too! Stunning entry!

All that I can say is that this is simple and beautiful. I absolutely hate her bangs but aside that, she looks so beautiful. I get these fairytale vibes from her, she is somehowe so cute too! And I love her green eyes, pale skin tone and black hair! Just simply beautiful! Although the dress is maybe too simple – I just don’t see it as a “after” dress. But nonethless, great job!

Oh my. Valentina is looking ridiculously gorgeus. Everything is right here! The dresses colour is perfect for Valentina and it’s so beautiful dress, and simple enough for that amount of diamonds! I love Valentinas hair and makeup too – I love her on runway. Nice read too. Seven year contract with Ralph Lauren, I never knew! As I said the whole entry is GORGEUS!

I never knew Angela was 27! Anyways. I love the dress Angela is wearing – white and light tan always look great togheter,and the dress looks like it has been made to Angela. I love her hair too. She looks so charming!But the thing that bothers me are the visible underwear and those earrings! The almost ruin it. But I still think your entry is very good.

Anna Jagdozinska – truebluejen
First of all, I loved your story! It was so sweet! Anna looks so stiff and serious in the first runway picture but the second one makes it up; look at that smile! It’s so cute Her outift; I don’t feel like it’s “after” enough. The dress has nice colour and material but it’s little simple and she doesn’t have any jewelry or anything that would make the outfit glamourous. But still, it’s a nice entry.

Your story is very nice! Diana looks nice too though her smile in the second picture looks bit fake. The dress really is perfect for Diana; she looks like an classy and intelligent american socialite! I love the green colour. However I feel like the look isn’t “after” enough. Her hair isn’t finished..it all looks bit weekdayish. I’m sorry but this entry is average.

First of all, let me say the dress she is wearing is gorgeus. The colour looks so lovely and good with her skin tone. But the first runway picture is horrible! She looks so stiff..like she isn’t comfortable with herself. And her chin looks so weird. But the second picture is heaps better ! I can see her beautiful blue eyes! The makeup is nice and so are the diamonds. The entry is OK.

Iselin is from Norway? That’s exciting and I loved to read the first part, it was very informing and nice to read! The first runway picture is lovely; I love her dress and her hair and her scarlett lips! She looks so beautiful. The shoes add a nice gold touch. The second picture though..she looks bad. I’m sorry but thats what I think. Her expression is too dull. She doesn’t charm. But nonethless, I think your entry is very nice.

Oh well..I just don’t like her look on runway that much. But I like the green-silver colours on her dress and her hair is looking gorgeus there. Very full! The second picture is nice, it has this soft edge. In the first picture she looks very cute and young. Though I don’t like it that much, you have done good job, especially in the writing part.

About the first part, how old is she and how long has she modeled? That was missing. Part two, well..Tanya looks like an elf, beautiful! In the first picture; no emotion! That annoys me but the second picture is really good, she has really sweet little smile! And also, I love her flawless skin. For my personal tastes, the dress is kind of horrible. The white part looks like ragged carpet. And thats not glamorous. Good entry still

Vlada Roslyakova – staticglamour
The outfit works on her – you’d thougt that dark grey would be a boring choice but it looks good and beautiful. The gloves are a great touch. Vlada looks cute, her smile is nice and the skin is flawless but for me, it’s still bit average. In the first picture she seems little stiff, without expression..but these pictures are not bad at all. Good entry.
