Part I:

Here's Marta wearing a sportsy, cool and sexy outfit! That is what Marta is about in real life: laidback, with an edge... daring enough to combine a sporty top with supersexy boots and hotpants.

Part II:

As a model, Marta is something completely else. She is the alternative, perhaps sometimes gothy or rocky girl that photographers love to use in not so ordinary shoots. Such as this one, where it is all about raw beauty and raw emotion:

Part I​

Mariacarla has a style all to her own. It is unique because she mixes many items of clothing that usually would not go together. She knows how to wear them and so she pulls it off well. She never overdresses and usually always keeps it simple. All of these reasons set her apart from the crowd.​

Part II​

Mariacarla is usually grouped in the category of "alien" s. Along with Gemma, she has wide set eyes and an unusual shaped face. She is extraordinarily beautiful as well, which definitely adds to her character. These features combined give her this "alien-esque" look.​

Although this photo is one of the rare few of usually bonkers Shannan actually chilling out backstage, her relaxed personal style seems to indicate that she might be more laid-back than all the silly poses suggest. It wouldn't be Shannan without a little quirk though, and the multi-coloured braces serve the role of quirk well!​

Part II - "The Americans"​

I found this part quite hard because to me, Shannan epitomises versatility, a chameleon who changes in every photo, something hard to show in just one photo. I think she is part of a group of models, predominantly American and Canadian, who have a classic, healthy and refined beauty that is highly commercial. However, their fantastic bodies, killer cheekbones and, most importantly, big personalities, mean that they can span from commercial right to high fashion and provide them with imaginative, creative editorial work.
I decided to use photos of the healthy, beautiful "all-american" Shannan and to save the chameleons for if I get through to the next round.​

Hilary Rhoda is the new postergirl for this look, though she hasn't yet built up that extensive and creative an editorial portfolio, she's become almost the new 'it-girl', from landing solo-girl spot in a Balenciaga campaign to opening and closing the Valentino show. She shares Shannan's beautiful bone structure, perfect figure and long hair and she might be the one to tip the scales back to the conventional beauty.​

And who knows, maybe Shannan will one day have the portfolio and profile of come-back queen, and I think, queen of this elegant with an edge look, Tasha Tilberg.​

Elise Crombez

Elise has a carefree sense of style. Comfort is her first priority as she slips into a simple dress which has abit of sexiness and quirkiness to it




Part 2:

Elise is a model which doesn' t exactly fit into any box. Her versatility has proved that she stands on her own. One thing she does have in almost all her pictures is a demure type of elegance and poise which is quite alluring and very interesting. This picture below shows that she isn' t exactly conventionally beautiful but she pulls it off with such grace, confidence and elegance. It looks like some painting from the 18th century.
