No info about the photographer yet.

I like her, but I’ve had about enough of that pink.

How very... pink. I think it's quite nice despite having no appeal to me personally, Emma looks really pretty. It's all very Tatler-y, though.

She looks pretty, but this cover is very underwhelming.

That Valentino collection needs to go away.

Thanks for sharing, dear @crmsnsnwflks! :flower:

I've checked it myself and there's still no other info about this issue, however these should be the previews:

They could have at least given the masthead a different colour, but no. Way, way, way too pink, all of it.

Edit: Zoomed in closer on the background, and even wherever there's a little pink in the background, it's been oversaturated. Very lazy.

Maybe I'm just crazy, but for me that Valentino collection I will never get tired of. Obviously some make use of it better than others but for the most part I dont mind.

I've never seen a collection overstay its welcome quite like the Valentino Pink.

It is more than obvious that since the beginning of March, when the Valentino Pink PP Collection was presented at Paris Fashion Week, the Maison Valentino's PR management has very carefully planned and, most importantly, perfectly executed that today it can be considered one of the most recognizable collections ever. The proof of this is that a month ago, at Valentino's last Couture show in Rome, LITERALLY all the celebrities and fashion influencers wore pieces from the Pink collection! (Even AdR, as you can see in the last image bellow!)

Btw, I'm not very familiar with Emma Chamberlain's work (simply, I am not into those YouTube/Podcast kind of stuff), but it's a huge for her, I'm certain of that. Also, I truly hope that some day in a near future (before printed magazines cease to exist!), my favourite fashion blogger/influencer Leonie Hanne will score her first Vogue Cover. God knows she deserves it!

Whenever I see that pink, all I think of is Schiaparelli not Valentino. The look on the cover also looks very Siriano, so I question if Pierpaolo thinks his work is as elevated as he believes it to be.

I don't mind Emma, but I'm surprised she isn't in LV. If her ties with the brand aren't as strong as some of the other spokespeople, would be nice to see her in less expected looks for coming shoots and editorials.

it’s cute and I don’t mind this Valentino for the cover but it’s a September issue and it lacks something.

You know, I literally just finished reading Loulou & Yves (about Loulou de la Falaise) about a half-hour ago, so talk about muses or whatever … then to read this cover line: “Meet Gen-Z's fearlessly candid main muse.” Just made me wince, but also… good luck to VA if they think this is what’s going to sell.

The photographer of this shoot is Ned Rogers. :flower:

I may be in the minority here, but I actually like this cover. It's vibrant, it's clean, and having her on their "new world" themed-issue makes sense. It's also a plus that she doesn't look droopy on the photo since what I notice about her magazine appearances is how saggy/tired she looks in every page.

I don't know. If you look at the pieces on their own, they're not very recognisable brand wise. The shoes and bralette style make me think Versace, some of the co-ords read Siriano or Roksanda Ilincic for more refined ones, sequin silhouettes say Gucci, utterances of Rick Owens and Vaccarello, Virgil's Off-White and LV with a tinge of Jacquemus... the list kind of goes on.

I don't actually recognise it as a Valentino collection at all and every time I see a look from it, I think of some other designer and wonder "oh, I don't remember them doing something that pink that recently". The fact Valentino did a near full pink collection is ingrained for sure, but I could not tell you an actual look from it and confidently say that it is Valentino.

People on social media are obsessed with sparkles and pink stuff, so Prada and Valentino come along, want their cut of the action without having to do anything that requires artistic effort, so they dress people in pink from head to toe, or encrust their bags with crystals, knowing it will get coverage... but attention spans in the age of social media are short, and people will soon tire of seeing the same products over and over again, and will move on to the next source of sparkles and pink stuff, in a slightly different shade or form.

While that precise shade of pink is super-recognisable at the moment, Valentino isn't doing anything innovative, they're just riding a wave in a big ocean, knowing that pink is popular and profitable.
