When agression can be used in a great way, only a model as good as her, could pull it off. But i wonder if the actual newsstands cover will be cut off? I mean this looks unusally elongated image for a cover?

I guess German Elle was actually right in saying black models are a trend. Where were all these Vogue covers for Alek Wek, Debra Shaw etc. back in their hey-days, some 20 years ago, before this diversity hype? Instead of being used to hypocricy in the fashion world, I sometimes get so annoyed.

Exactly! I understand that it's better late than ever, and I am glad that so many women of color are finally getting the recognition they deserve but you can't pretend that this sudden trend of diversity is genuine. It's just a new norm every publication/brand must follow in order to be accepted by the suddenly oh-so-woke society.
Obviously, it's a great benefit for all the black models that are in the spotlight but all I see is forced diversity for the sake of safety and hype. No actual respect and appreciation for the subject. Just sheer opportunism and money-grabbing hypocrites.
