Pretty cover.

But it could be read the wrong way by people. I see allusions to the British occupation of India in this cover.

Posh dressed up in a sari? It could be offensive to some.

british invasion. i don't like half of her hair cover her eye. and it's pretty weird yet bad expression. but she looks good in that Sari.

idk... I'm waiting to see what Miss Dalloway has to say about this :shifty:

Looks far too serious and the colours are dull.

helmut newton, I don't think Indian people will be offended. In these pictures it's the Indian style which is dominant (and portrayed respectfully) - plus I don't see any references to Colonialism/Imperialism.

The background is exactely the same as the October issue.

The wig is just shocking. Her worst cover

 Don't get me wrong I like Victoria Beckham, but this cover is awful. That wig is horrible, looks like her hair when she had them extensions

I like the sari and the lack of accessories, but her hair looks bad and the background is too similar to last months issue.

She does look good in a sari, but her hair is awful. I don't get why they used the same background they used for the Aishwarya cover. It seems like they didn't put much effort into it.

Great idea, just not executed well. Love the sari but they should have left her hair cropped, that would have been interesting....

Well the editor, maybe stylist and of course the magazine it is featured in are all Indian, it's not like it's an "Indian bride" theme for a British fashion mag or something. Indian people should see it as a compliment to Indian culture that a Western figure is dressing in that way and promoting that style of dress to Europeans and Americans (who are her core fanbase).

Many people who go to India wear the traditional dress as a sign of respect to the country, so what's the difference here? Just because it's Posh?

Oh please, what about Claudia Schiffer wearing Chanel on the cover of Vogue Paris August 2007? Reminiscent of WWII?

Well, failure is an art like everything else.

i almost didnt recognize her at first. her head makes her look like a creature from another planet here.

i think the hair extensions/wig was a bad idea.

She can do without the wig for the Indian dressup, weird stuff. Where are you, Miss Dalloway?

That's a cheap Indian bride get-up, by the way.

^^LOL.

This cover is a definition of a nightmare!

She looks great in Sari, but for crying out loud why on earth the horrible wig? Specially since Garren famously cut her hair, i swear i have seen Britney Spears with better looking hair.

It really could have looked so much better, shame.

Anyone know who shot her?

I bet it is some small-time photographer who doesn't have an idea of styling

Omg, how could Victoria approve this? Even the wig is of inferior quality!
