Vogue Italia February 2015 : Lexi Boling by Steven Meisel

Really sick of Roversi using Jean Campbell over and over and over again. :ermm: Wish he'd photograph someone new so it would be easier to fully appreciate his work. She bores me.

The eds are pretty good but I agree with HeatherAnne, this feels repetitive. I wish they would start using new-gen photographers soon.

Jean Campbell is the worst. She has no life in her eyes. I'd take Kendall Jenner over her any day.

Wow that editorial is stunning!! I love the story of seeing women work during the old times! Ah Meisel at his best!

Pretty strong issue IMO! Sasha's ed is stunning! How I've missed Sorrenti!

Jean has never impressed me, she always looks the same. Maybe her LV editorial for UK Vogue was the best so far? I think just for a change she needs to be shot with a more commercial theme in mind.

Seeing this issue wish Julia B or Sasha was on the cover.
Jean Campell, like Kendall, sure have other talents but modeling is not one of them. The issue is fine, but not a must have for me.

I want to love this cover story, but I can't. The garment machines coupled with the old fashioned styling evoked early 20th century Jewish immigrant factory workers in New York, but then why are there welders? It just dilutes the ed into "vague factory imagery". Plus I don't think any of the models actually are conveying the stress of doing hard work.

Kinda looks like RJ Rogenski but I could be wrong.

The thread bump just made me realise that Meisel's cover stories for Vogue Italia weren't all spectacular! This one certainly done nothing for me, but do have the issue stashed away somewhere (since Italian Vogue was always a compulsory purchase no matter what the content had to offer).
