I really hate it when people try to make 'original' things at all costs; he wants it to be funny, new and surprising but all I see is a pretentious, bad, ugly, boring and awful cover.

This is much too similar to the TwitPic/Twitter inspired Dec cover, and aesthetically so unappealing I think my eyes are actually bleeding now. Talk about a disappointment! Vogue Italia, why are you so insistent on looking like you're getting sponsorship money from Microsoft to use MS Paint for everything, when you so definitely are not? As a graphic designer, it is making me cringe. And a little nauseous.

While I was almost(!) willing to give the downright fugly December cover a pass simply because it served an unusual purpose (though I did end up leaving the issue on newsstands anyway, because of the terrible contents), this is just a pointless reprisal of the hideous collage-concept, and compositionally even worse than the December cover. With the risk of sounding crass, what the hell is this supposed to be? Other than helplessly cheap-looking and sub-par, of course.

Mchunu, I like Meisel a lot and I don't really want him to take a break, it's only a way of talking, but his latest campaigns and covers are disapponting.

I don't like the collage cover at all. However, the falling on catwalk theme is fantastic and Karlie looks amazing as usual.

Don't be surprised, this isn't any different from the hate Natasha, Chanel, etc gets.
