^^^ Creativity and Emmanuel is the oxymoron of our time.

At this point, I can’t bother to hate on this. It’s become such a hysterical mockery of Franca’s Vogue. Like he's deliberately sabotaging VI just to be different from hers.

VI has become the rich, clueless uncle that’s so desperately seeking to be down with the Tumbler kidz that, he’s got all these hyped and famous names to shoot the content. Then just like Donatella with the Versace campaign, hands it over to his bratty 13yo nieces and all their Tumblr friends to bedazzle/scrapbook/sticker the sh*t all over these shots. The type on an image feature on InDesign that no one ever uses, is just newly discovered by these bratty kidz and utilized on the cover is such a LOL moment.

Emmanuel's clueless actions speaks louder than juvenile, cheap words in this case.

Piergiorgio trying to create the next star haha... Vilma is a pretty girl though.
The creative direction is still a disaster, can't tell the difference from gb65.

To be completely honest, I couldn't care less about words, poetry or whatever else is of the moment according to Farneti... all I want out of a fashion magazine is some jaw-dropping imagery and a fabulous cover to be amazed by. This right here is a total flop!

The text is obviously terrible. However, the photograph makes up for it. The model looks good and the colors are beautiful. It's a very tight and clean shot. The styling is safe but it's not offensive. Vogue Italia won the September Issue. It's quite a contrast from a clown punk, a reptilian singer wearing a tracksuit, and a sad black and white gimmick.

Vilma who? She is not pretty. She looks like the blonde from Abba.

Seriously? In every magazine thread with a 90s girl on the cover we hear that they should make way for new models so they can shine and become new stars. Same goes when an Instagirl gets the cover. Same goes when Rianne gets the cover (who arguably is a relatively new girl who got room to shine and become a new star). Yet here we are: a new girl gets a major cover. And all we get is a “Vilma who”? Really?!?!?

^^^ LOL

She's always on my mind...

(I'll give it to him for giving a new model the Sept cover. That's an admirable move.)

Sorry, I'm so out lately. I didn't know I was supposed to know her. I still don't like her, maybe I am fed up with blonde blue-eyed girls especially because the late 2000s and early 2010s were pretty much all about that, so I cannot blame myself. I still dislike Kim Kardashian but she seems so attractive all of a sudden. Beauty standards change. Thank God.

Honestly the cover image is quite good; I like the styling and the setting. Yes, it looks like Harper's Bazaar Euro edition XYZ and the art direction is tragic, but this is Farneti and his new "creative director" of a mate. I'll take what I can get after that crapstorm of an August issue.

BTW did Jane How grow up in a coastal town or something? She seems to always use this British cliff edge backdrop in her work...Another Magazine with Natasha Poly from years ago, UK Vogue in 2017 by McLellan and now this. Not that I'm complaining!

Words matter but I am lost for words. This cover does literally nothing. The image is nice but it's not cover material. The layout has been played before, by HB nonetheless. Everything about this is just random with little creativity. I would rather have the all text cover. At least, it more eye pleasing than this mess.

Both Vilma and Adut are gorgeous, but these covers are so embarrassing and laughable. And what's with the robotic voice-overs on the Instagram? :hardhead:

A grown-up should be hired to lead this magazine.

The Lady Gaga stans in the comments on VI's Instagram are insufferable.
