Beautiful smile, but the rest is very Vogue Japan as someone already pointed out. Also, how many issues can Emmanuelle devote to blazers & jackets? It's truly amazing how blatantly redundant she is.

Oy vey... where do I begin? The smile is so awkward looking (but I blame the photoshop for that) and the overabundance of text... The font and the way it's positioned around her is making me claustrophobic. Give her some breathing room!

I do however love the styling, nose-ring & hair but everything else is god-awful. What were they thinking?

this is so bad on so many levels. the smile (don't take me wrong, i love smiling covers but this feels just wrong), the styling and the crowded headlines... when i consider how great the first daria/david sims VP cover was, this leaves me rather sad.

This is quite funny that they feature Ralph Lauren on the cover in a London theme issue. Hello, big advertiser!
And the text on the cover is just horrible. I notice that the text font is different. Did they change their art direction again? I hope they won't do this from now on.

Come on, it's not as bad as people are stating. Yes, this is absolutely underwhelming considering that it's Daria and Vogue Paris, but I think she looks quite nice and natural.

I mean geeze we had the Parisienne issue last September, then we had the I love America issue with Milla Jovovich in February and now we get "The London issue".

Alt is so brainless.

And lets not forget the god awful Las Vegas issue with Daria from last year as well, which i thought was a cool cover, but then content turned out just "bang my head on the keyboard" dull!

You forgot the Peruvian issue and the 'Escale en Grèce' issue.


She has also have the 'punk' issue, the "beautiful at all ages" issue... As Heather said, she's so brainless.

How are these issues selling?

I wonder this because I feel like these changes - the text heavy covers, issues centered around more simplistic themes, etc. would point to trying to make the magazine broader and more commercial. I wonder what the sales numbers are at this point for these issues, many of which have been pretty unanimously derided on the forums.

Back to this specific issue, I admit that it would have been cool to see a Brit on the cover. There is a big link between France and England and they share many style icons - imagine how interesting it would have been to see the great Jane Birkin on the cover of French Vogue!

I like it Daria's smile and the glint in her eye, it looks genuine but there is still something off like bad cheek filler and something else. She looks like Arizona Muse's broke down older sister who is really happy because she's in recovery and got her 100 day chip.

I think the Parisienne issue was last August, last Sept was the "All Black" issue. probably we'll get the Milan issue soon,
