Vogue Paris September 2013 : Saskia de Brauw by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

There are some excellent shots to Mert & Marcus' story but most of the pictures fail to leave an impact on me. The story feels a little incoherent and Sky Ferreira's pictures look completely outta' the loop. She's just there, basically (and looking horrendous whilst she's at it). Even with the presence of Andreea and Gisele it's Saskia who brings the images to life.

I do admire how the rest of the issue has a lighter mood. As usual, absolutely love Bijoux and the two Miss Vogue stories. I guess I'll have to hunt down a copy of the Fashion's Night Out supplement because it's the Pairsiennes story by David Bellemere which stands out to me most. My favourite outta' the issue by an absolute mile. The girls look amazing and have brought so much energy to the photos.

I look forward to seeing the issue in person and wether or not the fonts are foiled on the cover.

the main editorial is amazing so i'm considering purchasing the magazine after a very long time. the rest however...

i am beyond frustrated with their retro repetitiveness at this point. every issue looks exactly the same and they're not moving forward at all.

The editorials in this magazine now look like a bunch of mediocre portraits strung together, there is so little flow or ambitiousness or passion in the images... I like the cover, but out of the main editorial the only thing I find especially interesting is Sam Rollinson's shot.

The main editorial makes me incredibly frustrated. Most of the shots are very David Sim's esque, in fact they look like a bad imitation. I don't like the new direction M&M are going in, they're not succeeding at many of the new styles their attempting. Next.

Loving La Fièvre Grunge but it just seems like this issue is missing the excitement of fall/winter layouts.

Hi there... can someone post the ed 'La Fièvre Grunge' in better quality (like the iPad snaps), because that editorial is glorious and has some stunning photos. Specially the one were Suvi wears that tartan Stella McCartney jacket. :)

I got used to see some great quality photos from Mat Cyrus and now I can't go back, ahah :flower: thanks in advance!

I love the grunge look, but it belongs to the streets not the elite. And how did they go about making Sky F. look so bad? That's not easy to do. And why the ed of the over the top 80's fashion in a grunge issue?! Everything about this magazine is awful. It consistently gets it wrong.

On a side note, I find Tumblr to be far more inspiring than fashion magazines nowadays.

Since Alt started using Bellemere, maybe she should also give him a cover.
It may be a long shot but a girl can dream

Does anyone know where in London they are stocking the issues with the Vogue Fashion Night Out T Shirts?

Your best bet would probably be the Conde Nast Worldwide News store, although I somehow doubt even their copies would come with the FNO t-shirts. We (unfortunately) don't recieve the supplements here. Maybe you could try eBay?

Thanks for that will try hunt one down!!

I like the Pairsiennes ed, La fievre grunge is confusing to me except for Joe Mckenna's part. everything else is kind of boring, and not a good content for a september issue. the accessories story doesn't look chic, looks kind of cheap to me.
