W Magazine June/July 2016 : Cara Delevingne by Mario Sorrenti

^ MTE, although I have to say that recent issues have been truly pitiful! As others have stated, there has been no credible reading content of any kind at the magazine under Tonchi and based off of recent flicks through issues this problem appears to be worsening; couple that with the disastrous editorial content (give and take) of the last couple of issues and menu sized "issues" and you have a veritable disaster.

This magazine has become such a non-entity...I honestly wonder who cares or follows it now? It wouldn't even be dignified enough to be laid over a rainy path and walked over by a standard Freedman era issue.

The only way for this publication to survive as it stands is for someone like Baron to come in and re-model it. Otherwise it should honestly just fold...sorry!

The way I see it this magazine has been going downhill for a couple of years, I mean Tonchi's idea of written content has always been questionable but at least he managed to deliver solid editorials and a strong point of view fashion-wise. You couldn't say the same about the past few issues, all of which are not even worth the-VERY cheap-paper they are printed on. The styling is cheesy, the stories are pointless and it seems like many photographers (regardless of them being prestigious or not) just half-*** their work for this publication. For example, although I'm not Mclellan's biggest fan even I've got to admit that compared to other recent edits of his, this one just reeks of mediocrity. This magazine once represented a beam of hope among the sea of tedious US glossies alas it is now just as mediocre as the rest of them.
