W September 2010 : Hollywood's New It Girls by Inez & Vinoodh

The M&M ed looks good. Lara's not so much...
does anyone know if the magazine is still gonna be printied in its regular size or was it minimized?

Yet another mediocre editorial from Lara this year. Why has almost editorial she's done this year been so... bad.

I've done a complete 180 on her within the last year. I could not get enough of her last fall and now I just don't even want to see her face.

Is that Kirsi Pyrhonen in Mert & Marcus' ed.? So those 2 editorial preview are both lensed by Mert & Marcus? Loving the first one.

^ Yeah, I see Kirsi and Ginta Lapina too.
I have to agree with blueorchid, all of Lara editorials this year aren't so striking like in the last year..

Well, the first editorial doesn't look terrible, but that's because it looks like something from the old W.

The Lara editorial...is that a joke? It's literally horrendous.

I love Lara's ed. Love her hair and the bright colours.

I'm not excited by either editorial. The first editorial is way too stiff-stylistically it oozes M&M, but the model looks lifeless-there's no appeal, at all. That could change when I see the editorial in its entirety, but I don't get a sense of a narrative and even though its just two pictures, the preview feels rather weak.

Everything about the preview of Lara's editorial just strikes me the wrong way. She's not one to be bleached.

I really liked her Playboy editorial this year! :magic: :innocent: :P

But I agree if you on all accounts.

Yeah but she took those pictures in 2008. :P

Actually I really like the third picture, one of the few times that Lara is successfully showing some personality and not just serving as a vessel for dramatic styling and photography. I just hope that she wins that lawsuit so she can go out and buy herself some eyebrows.

Maybe has to do with the gap-tooth, but I always though that Lara Stone and Donna Jordan were particularly similar, and perhaps with this new Lara spread, the editors wanted to recreate the 70's legendary model.

First of all, I have to say I like the new logo. The cover itself looks very good aswell. I feel so stupid, but I had no idea Yaya is an actress now! And that she played Wilhelmina's daughter. Ugly Betty is my favourite tv show, but I didn't even recognize her! I remember loving her when I still watched ANTM.
Yaya, Emma and Zoe's shots are the best ones.

And I also love both previews from the editorials. It looks like it's going to be a very interesting issue.

I don't really like the editorial preview, and to be honest, im quite dissapointed. M&M editorial just looks like typical M&M editorial, nothing new. And Lara's editorial is just.. okay. But i need to see the full editorial first, i hope it doesn't dissapoint. I hope the full editorial changed my mind.

I'm curious to see what's inside. I actually like the new logo. W has been horrible lately.

I like it, all seems really good and so far my only complaint is the new W  I liked the old one.

I pretty much like the content this time which is quite unusual because I haven't bought an W issue since I can remember. This, however looks quite interesting and worth spending money on!

Ehhhh I kinda like the new changes. I also like Mary Elizabeth Winstead's careless and carefree look.
