I'd wear it with some skinny jeans and either chunky boots or spike heels - it's a gorgeous colour The cardigan is such a standout piece that it should definitely be the focus of the outfit. It'd look quite good left open with a printed t-shirt underneath.

LAMALONE: it's gorgeous! i love bows. and it's such a simple tee, you can wear it with anything. I'd wear it with a highwaisted black pencil skirt. and some black stilettos. or you can wear it with black trousers/skinnies/tapered pants and it'd still look great. any color should be fine. if you wanna do it casual, i'd suggest some skinny jeans or even those rolled up khaki trousers would do. GOOD LUCK!

I bought this grey leather skirt recently and not sure what to team it with - I've never worn leather before and I'm not sure about the skirt length, so any advice would be great

i think the skirt length is good...
was it you that got the branquinho swtr?
cause that is what i could see with this...
and some slouchy suede boots ..

i think leather is always good paired with something soft...
so either

- a drapey knit top...no tights and a strappy shoe
-a soft silky blouse- possibly with a ***** bow....and sheer black hose and low pumps
*very chic parisienne a la catherine deneuve*
-or a big oversize mohair sweater with thick tights and a chunky flat heeled boot to the knee (more of a weekend/country look)

it's all about mixing textures...
and with the hard shine of leather you want something soft and matte to balance that...

that would seem like the obvious choice to me...no?
in white, red or hmm...maybe hot pink? purple? royal blue? green?

i have a dries van noten shoe that would be perfect. i've worn it to two weddings before and they are an ideal party shoe with attitude and class. silver with a 3" heel, closed toe and staps all the way up the lower poriton of the foot that finishes with an ankle strap. i think they were from 2007 spring.
