What can I wear it with? (December 2003 - March 2010)

Ok, I have some similar jeans to these, i haven't worn them once, because i can't find anything to wear them with, and that makes them ugly to me.

Yeah those gap shorts rock. I have a question about them as well but this is regarding footwear as I'm only 5'3 (love these shorts, considering getting them in dark brown as well). I think they would be very cute with wedges or espadrilles but I don't want to look trashy either....I have a great pair of round-toed black heels (softie has the same pair) but what are your thougths? Also. I have a very cute military-esque waistcoat but I'm not quite sure what to wear with it....all I've worn with it so far is a black l/s tee. The waistcoat is cream with gold detailing. If I wear a button down with it and rolled back sleeves it's a bit too pirate-y. thoughts?

Pucci_Mama - those jeans are tough, but here's a pic of Kate in some looser fit jeans like that (well, loose for Kate ) and I like how she rolled them up to make them look sleeker. Do yours fit similarly in the crotch as the pic you posted? That's what makes them difficult IMO is that it's low. Maybe they could be altered, too...

Meg - if those shoes are the round-toes with the bows, I love those I think they may be dressy for the shorts, though. I like the sound of the wedge or espadrille. I'm also posting a pic of Kate for you Your description of the waistcoat reminded me of this Cavalli one. I like the look of vests with tanks. I also wear mine w/ victorian blouses and simple dresses

I love skinny jeans myself, thats about all i have in my closet, thats why im thinking that the jeans i bought that are loose up, was a bit of a fashion faux pas for me, but i dont want them to be

I was actually thinking about making them into super skinny jeans all the way up, but that will sooo ruin the shape. Yes, my jeans do fit in the crotch like that picture.. *sigh*

I love shoes. My problem is that when I purchase shoes, I don't think about what is in my wardrobe with go with them. I bought a pair of croc inspired pointy toe heels w/ ankle strap in a deep cranberry pink color and now three months later I want to wear them but I don't know what to wear with them. I am staying away from black because well I want color.

Mini skirts...I prefer white because it's spring and summery.

Cowboy Boots?

This is so odd. I'm having an issue with something that my state as well as Texas have made sort of famous and that is cowboy boots. In Tennessee, at least two thirds of the population owns or have owed cowboy boots. I want to purchase some but I don't want to wear them with just denim, because that gets old and cliche real quick. These are an example of the kind that I would purchase, courtesy of Amazon.com and Durango.
